All of the ice is heavy on cream and delicious. I had the Honey Almond ice cream which was heavenly and the Vanilla flavor which was anything but vanilla . Delicious!

Everything tastes fresh and homemade . The strawberries pop, the whipped cream , and my banana split overall was yummy!! The coffee to complement the meal was also smooth and balanced. Coming back!

A great ice cream shop with over a century of history. Best chance to go is during the day. Long lines in the evening. Try the lemon custard . Or tutti fruity , or, or, or (so many good choices).

I got the chocolate chip and it was delicious! So creamy with the perfect amount of ice cream and chocolate . Definitely recommend ... but be prepared for a wait!

The ice cream here was delicious. The line was out the door because of how good the dessert is. Should come early to get a good spot. Just a good place to have dessert with your date.

There are some flavors that change out each month, but I have never had a bad flavor here. Lemon Custard is one of my favorites. It's a historic place that often has a line out the door.

Had to grab some Tutti Frutti while visiting. My wife had the Almond Bisque, which was fantastic. Be prepared to wait, the lines can be long at times.

You can get a taster spoon of all the ice creams they have, but the hidden gem is their sparkling lemonade . They squeeze lemons right in front of your eyes! Delicious, tart , and awesome!

Love the Chocolate Raspberry and there Vanilla is rich and delicious. There was a little bit of a line and it was hot but there were very friendly and provided us water as we waited!

Who doesn't love a good ol' fashioned ice cream cone ? Leopold's has wonderful sandwiches (think PB&J, Club & their famous shrimp salad ) and delightful, unique ice cream flavors !

Plan to spend 20 minutes or so outside before getting your ice cream . Take a bottle of cold water to keep you hydrated while waiting.

Leopold's has a super friendly staff and they are always efficient. I enjoy the Peanut Butter Chippy sundae and the Rum Bisque milkshake . Kid friendly and Miley Cyrus approved!

I come here after finals every quarter for a ice cream cone treat. :) When the weather's cold, I opt instead for a Cocoa Leopold. A tradition I will not stop until graduation! :)

Coconut and gooey caramel ice cream are two of my absolute favorites here. So many good choices! (+ they have cake slices and sandwiches too. The BLT is great)

If having a sandwich , say that you want them to hold off making your ice cream treat until later and then ask the person they have coming around filling water glasses to get it for you - much better!

Best ice-cream in Savannah and some of the best I've ever had. Pistachio is creamy and good and so is the Mint Chocolate Chip . Great ambiance with it's old fashioned soda fountain look.

Huckleberry cheesecake ice cream , bathrooms that indicate a “closed set” when occupied, and ice water at the counter to help yourself with. Fantastic.

The atmosphere is awesome! Even just during a quick stop they nailed the authentic hometown ice cream shop feel.
