We created Flying Star because we needed fresh, tasty coffee served in a bottomless cup, comfy seats with casual, competent service that didn’t get in your face. Most of all, we wanted a place where dessert was first and the food was something you could really get your taste buds around.

Everything is good (so far). It's a popular place, so unless you get there early you're going to wait in line to place your order. Be patient. It's worth it!
The coffee is great... I live in Padova, Italy and its hard to find "good" coffee comparable to what you find there. Also the bran muffin is good.. A healthier choice..
Love the selection here. Two Birds & a Biscuit is a favorite, as is the Rise & Shine. All the cakes and cookies are amazing.
Love the fish dish ! Also the Mac n Cheese is the best in Abq.
