Mingei International Museum

Devoted to showcasing folk art and craft items the world over, this museum is home to ancient and contemporary pieces from 141 countries . It’s like one, big, artsy global family (and all their stuff).

Always interesting and never dull. Chances are that you will find more in this museum to make you 'think' and challenge you than in any other museum in Balboa Park .

Very cool. Small but wonderful displays.

Unless you're into ornate furniture and abstract art....don't waste your time or money. If you do like those two things then this is the place for you!
