Can get there by bus . Especially beautiful after a light rain. Nice, quiet . And don't forget the witches castle !

On a clear day there is a spot on the bridge where you can see Mount Hood, Mount Adams, Mount Saint Hellens, and Mount Rainier all at once.
Beautiful 1 hour RT hike . Well shaded and green, a perfect summer-heat escape.
Lots of walking options. You can just sit on the grass if you prefer.
Rains here, all the time.

Hike to the haunted former restrooms , about a mile in.
