The Pembroke Castle

Like any neighbourhood pub ... great outdoor seating area , but it gets quite crowded during weekends + good amount of drafts on tap !!

The Pembroke has a great garden , decent food, shows the latest sporting matches and features a quiz night (Thursdays) and a comedy show. What’s not to love about this local in a Primrose Hill ?

Chorizo burned so badly it was black (although only on one side) - my plate looked like a backgammon board with red & black discs. No dogs - in winter our 10 week old miniature Dachshund was evicted.

I wouldn't say people were rude, but at last 3 if the staff were really unpleasant, and it kind of killed the good Sunday vibes my friends and I were having. That said, they had great cloudy cider .

I would highly recommend the fish and chips , best I've had in a while.

The Black and Blue burger was disappointing. Just a patty that was cooked to death in a cold bun that fell apart ... I'd stay clear if the burgers here...
