Very good quality sushi . Really loved the chawanmushi, too. Came with a bunch of friends, ordered a lot, and were really happy with this. Service was quick and servers were nice!
Miso spup is AMAZING!!! Service is awesome too. Loved the sushi but LOVED the King Crab Roll . It's a glorified Cali roll but so worth the extra to get the king crab.Saving this to my "regulars" list.
Sesame chicken is da bomb! I had the sushi medley, really good!! We should of bought a second plate of sesame chicken , I kept eating my babe's,.it's that good!!
The restaurant looks plain but let it not deceive you. Great sushi and California roll . Try Sushi&Sashimi platter - a wide variety of fish . Served with miso soup and some salad . Highly recommended.
Very good and fresh ingredients . I brought my two young daughters and they really enjoyed it too. Service was excellent.
Salmon sashimi was good. The rest was o-k. Fresh, not amazing though. 49er and San Francisco roll were ok too. If you in the area- good sushi . But not my best in SF (that would be domo, otoro, puzzle)
Their sushi is very fresh and light. Place is cozy and suitable for quick sittings. Service is nice. A little pricey tho!
Ankimo (monkfish liver ), Hamachi collar, Shiro Maguro Toro (albacore tuna belly ), Tai red snapper ), Oh Toro (fatty bluefin tuna )
If you can splurge on the Copper River King Salmon , DO IT! It's so amazing and well worth the price. The servers are really nice too!
Get it all. But if you can't do that, get the king crab roll . And try and sit at the sushi bar .
Be prepared to have a wait time or make a reservation . Miso was the best I ever had and the sushi and sashimi was amazing. MUST for sushi in SanFran.
Relatively easy to find spaces for late dinner . Sushi is average but worth trying their cod
The salmon teriyaki combo is a good deal . Lots of very delicious small courses - soup , salad , sushi , salmon , rice .
Good ???? . Salmon sashimi was very fresh. I recommend roll 709 (but without jalapeño , if you don't like very spicy ????)
Excellent Sushi and service. Went on a Friday night at 8:30pm waited 20 mins for a table without reservations and loved it.
49er roll was amazing! So was the white fish sashimi with ponzu . Everything was great and the waitress was wonderful
Very busy, but nice friendly service . We had a delicious 3 seafood salad and lots of sushi . The Poke roll was quite delicious.
Miso soup and Tai roll! Excellent service , delicious sake , killer rolls.
Loved the nigiri ! Fresh and delicious. My usual favorites: uni, amaebi, sake , hamachi , all shined.
Back for the 2nd time in one trip! The Sesame Chicken and Kokuryu Sake Flight is the best I have ever had!
Udon is great. And if you are lucky they won't ask your ID for a glass of wine .
It is very good, but I sat on the bar and noticed there's only one senior itamae, so not everything that is prepared is accomplished with the same precision.
Good, fresh fish . Tasty and reasonably priced for sushi . Definitely best sushi in lower nob!
if you sit at the bar at lunch , do yourself a favor and odder the sashimi lunch . simple and solid.
Everything!! Excellent sushi and good price!! Very friendly service ! I just loved it!
Great price, fresh and very good. Awesome place
Woods and sea.. Amazing! Urchin + salmon roe in an avocado with some delicious sauces.
Spicy tuna and Negihama were both good! Their wasabi was a bit dry. On the whole, seemed reasonable for SF.
Can't go wrong with the tiger roll & crunch roll . Also the sesame chicken is really tasty. :)
Really awesome and attentive service . Cozy , but not cramped. The chef 's special is one of my faves.
All of the signature sushi rolls are really good, and a tad spicy , recommended!
Best sushi and Sashimi salad in SF! The ambiance and service are both unique.
Love the rainbow roll and crunch roll
katsu donburi , beef teriyaki , rainbow roll were good. chicken teriyaki & chicken udon were below average. With such expensive prices, we expected to have higher quality of food. Hope they can improve
704 roll is very good! Servers are nice and most people shout "thank you/arigato" when they leave.
Exceptional - with great lunch deals on bento and sashimi combos!
Order all of the five specials for spicy group sushi madness. They're really good.
Sushi is fresh and delicious. Sanraku roll is very similar to a dragon roll . Just get the dragon.
Delicious and good-priced sashimi plate in a busy touristic downtown
Great Japanese restaurant , good sushi and make sure you order one of the desserts
Very nice Japanese food . Excellent appetizer !
Nice food with friendly staff . Seems a lot of regulars go there. Teriyaki salmon was great!
Great place! Udon and donburi were great. Good potions
pretty good sushi for fair prices
Their California roll is superb
Order the dragon roll and the crunch roll .
Great sake selection . Very friendly staff and fresh fish !
Sashimi salad , quality fish $18
