Great fish tacos (and you can choose between 2 tacos or 3 which is a great option). Also awesome burgers . The ambience is nice, pretty loud music and on most nights there is live music too.

Probably some of the best food I've had in Montauk! No frills, casual atmosphere . Amazing Spicy Tuna Tartare and grilled shrimp Caesar salad . Also try their jalapeño margarita ????✌????️

Nice spot w/ a lot of character. We got the Caesar w shrimp-solid choice. The mussels were great but I was not a fan of the Thai inspired broth. It wasn't as flavorful as I thought. Go w/ garlic .

Get the White wine mussels , tuna tartare , and anything with the Hawaiian BBQ sauce is a must! Great place to chill listening to reggae and having bubbles blown in the air.

This is the spot! It has the best food in Montauk IMO, and i have been visiting here since i was 5... Bison burger , amazing, cuban salad w shrimp , shrimp tacos , live music , wine ... BOOM.. Enjoy

I was in Montauk for a week and ended up at the Gig Shack 3 times. Its a great late night spot to chill/eat/drink, where you'll usually find local musicians playing their stuff or just jamming .

Have eaten here the last three nights and everything is delicious, friendly service and delightful atmosphere.

Garlic Mussels and Tacos are legit. Sit outside. Skip their deserts and walk to Johns Drive-in for ice cream instead.

Really enjoyed my meal as did the others with me. They have an open to outside atmosphere and the last couple times I was there they had a singer/guitar. Nice.

Lunch menu is excellent. Scallops and beet salad in particular were well prepared and perfect for a summer day.

Food here is amazing. The fish tacos are a healthy portion and the lobster roll will make your want to hug the chef .

Lunch was good, good chill atmosphere, The place gets crazy at night. Musicians play and accept requests.

Fish tacos were too salty for my taste but the mango salsa on top was brilliant. $34 lobster roll on a croissant was good!

Snobbish service, overcooked lobster (rolls), over salted blackened fish . The crab cake was good however. If this is Montauks best, I'll never be back.

Food is very good, portions are ridiculously small, prices are very high. $35 for a tiny lobster roll .
