Be sure to visit the outdoor exhibits , including the tidepools, Boundless Energy exhibit , and the sharks. Visit on an afternoon & catch the sunset over La Jolla. Gorgeous view !
The jellies make for a nice camera phone grab shot while having to chase your kids around. Watch out for the glare from the lights behind you. Want to go back to take a longer look at the sea dragons .
The view from the Tide Pool exhibit was worth the admission and a cool little aquarium as well .
Yes, it’s a tad small, but honestly it’s also a great place to just go and relax. Sit outside on a warm day. I like to read here.
So much fun and very interesting marine life collections. Kids zone is nice. Lots of room for kids to play and learn. Very well run and maintained.
My son and I loved our trip, it was great. It seemed a little bit on the smaller side. But over all it was great! The feeding fish show was the best.
I loveee this spot! Like a kid in a candy store .... Jelly fish , sharks, cool fish galore! Sooo cool. I spent hours there for an oceanography class .

Birch has live feedings throughout the week. You can ask questions and watch as divers and aquarists during feeding time. Check out their website for specific dates and times!

Small aquarium that has many of the basic items that you would find in the local waters. Good views . Can see it all within 2 hours.

Look for their Pier Moon Walks, where you can actually walk out onto Scripps Pier , usually closed to the public!
The aquarium is really smaĺl. Could be interesting only for kids under 4.
