Ahi tuna nachos , beef borscht & truffle fries are essential for late night chalkboard brainstorms til 4am. The seats overlooking the Comedy Cellar are my fave spot for people watching . Love this place

Buffalo wings . Mac n cheese . Chili . Charlie Chaplin movies . Chalk board tables ... I leave satisfied & lighthearted every time! Great stop by in the village for sure.

The feta salad sandwich is my go to. The horseradish mashed potatoes are sooo good. Inexpensive and quick service . One of my regular spots in the neighborhood .

Nice atmosphere and reasonably priced food for this area of town . Can't go wrong with their burgers .

It’s fun to draw with chalk on the tables and the comedy cellar is right downstairs giving the place a super cool vibe. The food was good too and not all that expensive . Glad I dropped in!

Fun spot for live music while waiting to get into the Comedy Cellar . The musicians are very talented and pull of some amazing cover songs.

I'm a fan of the Mediterranean food , and also a fan of seeing the Comedy Cellar talent come up for some food too.

I've been coming here for 35 years. They stopped making Shawerma .... WHAT? That's what everyone comes for. We ordered meatloaf , shish kabob & nachos . We were very disappointed for the first time

Falafel platter :-) just above the Comedy Cellar this restaurant is warm homey and it actually feels funny in here.

Love this place. Great food, perfect place for cheap dinner before show around the corner at Minetta Lane Theater .

Hummus plate is finger-licking good! Just not your chalk stained fingers of course.

Waiters are awesome and orders don't take long. Fair price and good place to hangout with friends.

Get the mix grill, lamb and chicken , rice and salad ... Hot apple cider with a cinnamon stick to drink.. You wont be disappointed.

The chalk board tables are so much fun! The sangria is cheap and delicious! The Israeli salad is very good.

Great atmosphere, our server was awesome, and the nachos are fantastic drunk food. Going to the bathroom downstairs was tricky.

The chicken kabobs are super tasty. They are moist/tender and marinated in yogurt . The hummus plate is also pretty solid...

Beware going to the bathroom . The code to get downstairs is 137. You will exit onto a live set in the comedy club downstairs and have to brave taunts to get to the bathroom in back. Can be unpleasant.

Been coming here for 24 years - the best. House dressing should be sold in the market .

The food isn't especially interesting but it's a good deal and cozy atmosphere .

This place is always busy but be patient. Food is great & cheap . They have the BEST hot wings and their blue cheese is delicious!

Come here and enjoy delicious beers like Budweiser and Coors.

Amazing white sangria . Write on the tables with chalk. Find the bathroom for quite the adventure.
