San Carlo Cicchetti

Best Italian I've had in Manchester. In a sea of distinctly average places it really stands out. Everything was fantastic though I still dream about the pizza . Great for a special occasion .

An italian tapas restaurant . Nice food and nice environment with italian staff . Brushetta, pizza fritta, cheese table are a must. Good wine and desserts . Make a reservation ! Coming back for sure.

Really fresh ingredients , varied menu and great wines . Sometimes service can be a little flaky or slow, but there's one or two head waiters who are absolutely fantastic!

Tapas(ish) style Italian restaurant . warm welcoming. Food is great:-) We had calamari , oyster pasta , lamp sth... and they were all good.

Lovely place, great food & delicious desserts especially the mille feuille , but portions are small.

In some ways better then the big brother San Carlo across. No booking and less rushed. Tapas type Italian dishes can be hit or miss. Great ravioli

I went on a saturday night with no reservation and was sat down in half hour despite been told 45 mts so very pleased. Lots of staff , didn't wait long for anything. Freshly cooked food. Recommend.

At Chicchetti, portions are bigger than Spanish tapas and it comes to you as cooked, not necessarily all together. Everything is made fresh from scratch using the best ingredients flown in from Sicily

Food is really good, the ingredients are the best and it's not that expensive as you may think.

Arancini , steak tagliata, any of the pizzas are all good choices.

Oddly, compared to the others advices, I liked this restaurant even if there was too much noises. Particulary the pizzas which have really good taste.

The place looks like a glittering overspill pen for the herds of celebrity spotters intent on sitting a table's length away from the likes of Ralf Little across the street in San Carlo.

Average food at an over crowded , over hyped restaurant . If you are not "important" they will make you feel "unimportant". But if you still want to give it a try, double check your bill at the end.

Service is somewhat fractious. Food is OK but not best Italian I have had. Expensive for what it is.

The food here was very good but, unfortunately, 2 of 4 of us were very sick after eating here so I would not recommend the place
