For wheelchair users, the lift near Starbucks (when it is working) is your best bet for accessing the Upper Mall . Second best is an in-store lift. Avoid the glass ones that serve the parking levels.
Plenty of shops and the market is great. The food bit if market is best place to go and fine good food and reasonable too
Plenty of choice for all shopping needs, grab a Millies shake or a bubble tea from one of the vendors and take a look around.
The Arndale market has some really tasty and different food outlets, venture a bit further than Nandos and get a yummy and much cheaper lunch !
Even the locals get lost in here! Good for a wander and people watching . Free cash machines and toilets around the place.
The queue for the mens cubicles in all the loos is always very long. Guys!! What are you afraid if, if you need a number one use a flippin‘ urinal!!
If you feel at all lost, or you'd like to know what shops are nearby, the red screens on low stands throughout the centre show electronic maps (& sometimes job vacancies!). Good luck!
Located in the heart of Manchester. Has many entrances. I like the escalator entrance from Market street.
one of the biggest shopping centres, loved it, great variety of shops.
Great place to shop. Has a large range of shops that suit all tastes. Plenty of places to eat and free WiFi .
Known as "Arnie" to the locals, this colossus of a shopping centre used to be the go to destination Manchester before the Trafford Centre came along. Still worth a walk around at sale season
You should visit if you are in Manchester because it's right in the city centre and very accessible.
Nice mall . We had some breakfast at Druckers, bought some stuff at the Disney store and Superdry. We eat at Bella Italia, goid food especially the antipasti
Welcome to the largest city centre shopping mall in Europe!
Park in the car park opposite the MEN arena. £3 all day...not sure why people are complaining about parking .....bloody tourists .
A really awesome place, every shop you need is right here, but the food court could be revitalised
Good locaction in the city center and good selection of shops . Always busy.
Its really big place, lots of places to go shopping at, to eat and just leisure. Very crowded .
The free wifi here is awesome! Check out my screen shot of the speed test - upload and download!
Fantastic place to shop, specially on January sales.
Nice selection of shops and not that crowded after 6'30. But not as good as Trafford Centre .
Right place for shopping fashionable and stylish products for yourself.
Wish that the old mall would be updated so that it doesn't look so grotty compared to the 'new' extension! Too many decent shops going under in the old bit owing to perception they're in a worse bit!
A very good place to eat and drink. Lacks designer brands though.
Go earlier the better! Can get really busy near lunch time.
Good shopping centre in the city . Free wifi !
Big shopping center where you can find everything
A pigeon flew in here and attacked me in the face while stood near the entrance. It was like an eagle. 1/10 would not recommend.
Broad choice of stores and food stalls .
Good for shopping.enjoy chilled out day with friends
WiFi so slow you'll want to rip out your eyes and feed them to the pigeons that fly through the building.
Big shopping center , good deals
Congratulations on having sufficient signal to check in!
Don't bother with the Foodcourt, saturated with chain 'fast food ' outlets. Instead, try the numerous independent eateries located in the market .
If using a chair it's much easier to get to upper level using an in store lift!
Tidy and a good selection of stores.
Go to the trafford centre and park for free.
There's a chargebox here so u can charge ur phone in a secure locker while u have a coffee / do some shopping. it's in the vodafone store!
Didnt like much , but its closed mall for quick shopping
Really pleasant shopping experience.
Useful when it's raining for walking from High Street to Corporation Street/Printworks without getting too wet
A big decent shopping mall . I think over 200 stores inside.
The best place to buy authentic Cocinha Brasileira in Arndale Market
Nice walk. Different options.
This place is a maze! Trace your steps if you're a newcomer
Whats better than shopping in the city centre ?
Everything you could want
Most shops open at 11.30 on a sunday, not 11 like most other places.
Go to the Trafford Centre to avoid extortionate parking prices
The bannisters on the stairwells sometimes carry an electric current
Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Excellent service! - Otto Mathisen

Only been here once before, my taxi driver cautioned me to keep my hand on my wallet. Sound advice! - Sarah Deevy
Perfect for luxury shoppers, smaller than the central London branch but that's expected, it's quite big nevertheless, really good and not too overcrowded. - Judy A
