Place is real old school. All freshly cut meats (brisket , turkey , top round, ham ). Build your own sandwich . Sit @ the counter & chat up a long-time DC resident or municipal worker. Very diverse crowd .

Whoa. Get the Brisket or Top Round , horseradish and a side of gravy for dipping . Yeah - gravy . You can't go wrong. A bit on the expensive side but this place is awesome.

Awesome roast beef , good fries , large portions . Neighborly service and good salads . Diner-like breakfast also solid.

The meat is awesome, sliced in front of you at the counter. Moist and flavorful! Sadly, the French Dip did not have the right kind of bread making it even more messy.

Incredible sandwich joint. You can't go wrong with brisket , top round, or roast turkey . Get gravy and fresh horseradish .
