Best kept sushi secret on the West Side. Amazingly robust menu, something friendly for the Vegans and Vegetarians in your group. They also have a stacked menu for non-sushi items (ramen , dumplings )
The rave reviews are accurate. Kaya has the best sushi I've had in years. They also have an excellent selection of sochu. I recommend the green apple .
Order the monkfish liver nigiri . It's almost always available and has been very good everytime I've had it. So fresh and so clean .
You have got to try the spicy tuna tower ! The green tea rice on the bottom is really good! My lips are somewhat numb from the spiciness .
Beautiful whole in the wall sushi spot . Try the volcano roll ! Steer clear from the green tea roll though.
Kaya Sushi is the best kept sushi secret in Los Angeles. It's right by the ocean in Marina Del Rey. -Patti Stanger, Millionaire Matchmaker
Loads of vegetarian roll options and tasty sukiyaki is good enough for two!
No matter how hard you study the menu, the lunch box is the best deal aound! I like the spicy pork or salmon teriyaki
Must order: spicy albacore crunchy sashimi , summer roll , nigori sake .... The BEST sushi ever, but you won't know til you go!!!!!!
Best sushi . Try the Lisa roll . Have recommended to all my friends and now they always order it b/c it's a hit.
Attention low carbies: you can actually dine at this sushi restaurant as they have an entire menu page dedicated to you. Awesome.
Live this place. You can't go.wrong with anything on the menu. Jalapeño roll FTW!
Try the Spicy Rainbow Roll - Good flavor; nice balance of heat
Spicy tuna is the best I've ever had. And I've had hundreds.
A hidden sushi gem on the Westside. I'm a sushi snob & I love this place.
so many rolls to choose from! yum
Try the Jalapeno White Tuna Roll - Texturally amazing!
Try the Jimmy Roll - Lobster , shrimp , asparagus , jalapeno , beef
Try the Marilyn Mon-Roll - Very good - nice heat!
Great sushi , probably not for the traditionalists..heavy on the sauces and a little fusiony. Try the squid steak !
Still searching for the perfect sushi place in Marina Del Rey. Rolls are interesting, but the sushi isn't fresh. Not terrible, but not outstanding by any means. Pricey too.
The Lisa Roll & Tuna Jicama Roll rule the school! Nobody does rolls like Kaya ! Indulge!
Order two Michelle's Rolls so you can share them with me!! So good.
The food is better than I remember....and it's been 12 years since we were here!
Gorgeous staff and great food!
Great service and amazing food!!
Despite being a sushi restaurant , it's Korean. So say kamsahamnida when you leave, not arigato.
Nigari plate
The atmosphere is amazing, I love the waterfall wall.
Kim is amazing with kids. She walks them around, allowing parents a breather...
Great sushi but expensive . Only execption is the spicy tuna roll - skip that on the menu.
Baja california roll is a must
The Aloha roll is bomb!
