Great classic movie palace turned into Broadway in Chicago Theater . Wonderful decor, seating, sightlines and acoustics & host to pre-Broadway and touring companies of hit shows.

Beautiful Theater . At Once, get here when the doors open and have a drink on the stage . They also repeat this at intermission.

Nice theater . A little on the smaller side which is nice. Coat check is about $2. Snacks , drinks, wine/champagne available

In honor of the late James M. Nederlander, patriarch of Broadway and champion of Chicago’s Downtown Theatre District, we will be renaming the Oriental Theatre as the JAMES M. NEDERLANDER THEATRE.

At the intermission now and have to say that the first act was really excellent - funny, fun and very well done. Highly recommend if you get a chance - it’s only here for 2 weeks.

Directors level has great seats and wonderful view . Bathrooms and bar in this level too. Highly recommend!

The theatre itself is absolutely stunning! Check out www.broadwayinchicago.com for a list upcoming Broadway shows in Chicago. There is a Garrett's popcorn located just a door down from the theatre .

There's a McDonald's right next to the theater if you need a very quick bite to eat before your show!

I'm honestly convinced there sing a bad seat in the house - the cheap seats in the balcony give a fantastic view of the stage !

This review is for the Oriental Theater : beautiful interior decor! It's like a show within itself.

Such a classic theater . Takes you back to yesteryear Impressive!!!

The Oriental Theatre is AMAZINGLY beautiful with fabulous ornate decor. Pay attention to the intricate details all around you!

Merchandise takes cards but the bars are cash only . There is an ATM in the front lobby.

Go see Once and get there early - you can order a drink on stage while the cast plays music !

Seats are staggered so it's easy to see the stage . On the other hand the rows are very narrow.

Seats are very tight for a tall person, but it's a beautiful theatre .

Try to sit in front row of your sections. Lots of old theaters have tight seats but these are some of the worst in Chi town for leg room.

go around the corner and into an alley to find the stage door and say hi to the talented kids of billy elliot ! this production is TONS better than the current broadway cast.

Nice theater

Once great musical . Set a real pub . However the film is still number one.

Crazy bathroom usher on the lower level. Watch out for her. She screams at you if you take too long at intermission. :O

get a Stella Artois for $6 and set it on the first balcony 's ledge...watch the feds come down on you...SET NOTHING ON THE LEDGE!!!

Seats are very small and aisles are too close. If you go take a sweater or jacket . It’s extremely cold!!
