One of my favorite stores, I shop both in store and online. No problems with returns ever. Low on staff though. Sometimes it is pretty hard to find someone on the floor.

The express elevators to the market place grill are between coach and jewelry near the north end of the first floor.

Even during this Covid19 Christmas ???? , we can rely on Macy's State Street in Chicago to bring all of us comfort, normalcy and a bit of holiday cheer! Thank you, Macy's and Merry Christmas !! ????????????????

A good place to warm up in the winter. But it's plenty warm... Be prepared to take off your coats and carry them, as they have no shopping carts.

This isn't your typical Macy's. Floors of items but the staff is so friendly and helpful.

When you see the Tiffany ceiling , please remember Marshall Field was trying to recreate the pools his wife saw in Italy on a trip. GORGEOUS MOSAIC WORK!!!

Located close to some tourist attractions . Very big, with many US and international brands. Toilets are on LL, 2nd and 4th floors. Food court available.

The Frango section in the basement is the absolute must of this place. It brings back a shadow of the wonderfully delicious past.

This isn't just any Macy's, being that it's in the old Marshall Field 's building, but it's also a great place to score a deal on designer fashions. Go when they have a sale for the best prices!

Excellent food court on the 7th floor ! The salmon nicoise salad is a work of art !!

I love shopping here, always great discounts . The shop layout is unusual and can take lots of wondering to find something you want.

Be sure to check out the Walnut room which is now a restaurant .

You can get to the Red and Blue line via the pedway from the Lower Level.

I usually find good deals here BUT, for as big as the store is sometimes it's hard to locate a salesperson and more often then not you feel like you are bothering them, even when checking out.

The luckiest department store ever. It is in very historical building of Chicago.

There is a fun sports bar under Macy's, on the basement level that meets the Pedway. Daily specials . The name is a pun on the Marshall Field 's legacy.

What is the future of enormous department stores like this? Will they go the way of malls and Main Street? Has online shopping sealed their doom? Interesting.

First thing to do is head to the Visitor Center in the 7th floor and get the 10% Saving card for International Visitors.

The Flower Show is getting ready start, this is a must see event , all the people involved did a great job

Can be a bit overwhelming due to it's size, but has a great selection of name brands.

Huge, with beautiful decor. Be sure to check out the atrium ceilings.

Get a Frango mint chocolate shake from the 7th floor in the Frango Cafe , its one of the best shakes ive ever had.

Huge place and very confusing layout. Finding a restroom is nearly impossible with very encrypted directions.

Hard to snag a fitting room during crazy sales, but some of the discounts are totally worth it

Might not be Field 's, but it's still something to check out in the loop. Go to the top floor and gaze down upon this retail wonder.

If you're hungry, they have a cafeteria at the basement with VERY affordable food! And free wifi . :)

Don't get a manicure from the spa ... It's like they don't know what's going on (if you do get the older Hispanic lady, at least she'll give excellent customer service).

Macy's always seems to have an area marked off with signs that say pardon our dust. Fields somehow didn't, and escalators were kept in better repair. Fields just seemed to care more about the details.

Give they valet 5 bucks and u can park on side on Macy's without paying full price
