Well worth the (inexpensive ) price of admission. Go early to avoid the crowds. Admission gets you almost full access to the house and grounds. Pet the cats, just don't pick them up. Learn their names!
Perfect place for a destination wedding. Great price for a historical home and an amazing staff to help you with it all. Also: CATS!
Local favorite. Everytime I come home to Key West I have to stop here. The guides are informative and of course you see all the polydactyls. The kids get to learn about classic American literature.
“The swimming pool is wonderful…it lights up at night…it is wonderful to swim around in a sort of green fire, one’s friends look like luminous frogs…”~Elizabeth Bishop
I never go to Key West without stopping here - endless cats to see and pet ! Great historical site
A cute tour and house! A little expensive though. If you go, be sure to check out all of the friendly six-toed cats!
Stylish and inspirational. Shades of green everywhere. It's also happens to be a one of kind cats place miracle with a unique polydactyl specie. The coral pool is astonishing...
Who let the cats out???? ! Yes his 6 toed polydactyl cats rule the house ! Worth the tour !
So much information about Ernest Hemingway and His families all in one place. Beautiful home that is very well preserved. Also a wedding venue.
Very interesting, very reasonable price, the grounds were immaculate, just unbelievable that someone lived like that way back then.. NO WONDER HE WAS INSPIRED TO WRITE.Check out the 6-toed cats.

Legendary and impressive. Get a guide. It is free but you will know story of the place.
The Hemingway House has really turned into a tourist trap. It's pretty cool to be in the home of someone so historically important but that was the extent of my excitement. The six-toed cats were cool
We had a great time wandering the grounds. Fun to learn more about Ernest and how the keys fit into his life.
Worth it! Your was short but the plagues added a lot. Beautiful grounds, don’t miss his private office ! And take an allergy pill if you have cat allergies.
Must love cats, gorgeous southern architecture and cats. If your friends announce this as their wedding venue run don't walk to get your RSVP in the mail!
Good tour for history, Key West stories (the urinal/cat watering hole was my favorite), and local color. Take photos, but not while on the tour .
Totally worth the admission fee to take care of the cats. There are 54 felines residing there!
The ticket sellers and ticket staff are surly and a turn-away. The older breaded gentlemen with the anchor ear-ring was the saving grave. Enunciated well , kept it moving, & very knowledgable .
Check out the 6-toed Hemingway cats. If you're lucky, you'll see the black & white cat with 7 toes.
Third time I've been. It's great, the 6 toed cats are friendly and if you sit long enough one might sit with you. :-)
A must see when in Key West. A lot of great history...and a lot of six toed cats.
54 cats reside here and most with 6 toes! History of the pool is very interesting!
Superior place for Hemingway fans and cat lovers! Also you can find here the oldest pool with ocean water in Key West .
The history of the pool is very interesting, be sure to take the guided tour .
Tour is excellent. Not to miss when visiting the island .
Take the free tour , it's included with your paid admission!
One of the must pass by places in Key West even if you don't go inside, just to say you did.
Love this home. Is it worth the $14 entry fee - may be.

Worth the trip to Key West just for this! Chris is the best tour guide ever, too!!
Don't hurry up and spend there enough time, the place has a wonderful atmosphere.
The tour is great even for locals to visit again.
It's definatley a must to visit when in Key West. Incredible history.
This was so much fun! The tour guides are knowledgeable and so many cats!

Neat to see the room where he wrote several of his classics! ????

Gorgeous venue for a wedding. Pet a friendly kitty .
Some of his private book collection. Check out the gift shop !
