Whatever noodle bowl type you get, get the salmon roe combo, and subsequently savour the roe as it melts in your mouth. P.S. For the noodles , you can ask for less salt.
Authentic Japanese ramen . Portions look small but are actually more filling than they look! One of my favourite places to go for lunch . Also recommend ordering salmon roe
One of the best bowls of ramen I've had in Canada. The pork jowl lives up to the hype; it's definitely the way to go. For an extra Hokkaido twist, get an order of butter and corn for your miso ramen .
Ask for less salt for those complaining about how salty the soup base really is! Definitely recommend the Toroniku Ramen w/ half salt and half lard for a healthier version. Add the soft boiled egg .
Miso Ramen .. It's a little salty but very good. I was very full with just the soup order. Prices range from $10.75 to $15.60 (combo meals). I will still come back and try the other ones.
Really good ramen . Their broth is more tasty/rich than others. Toroniku ramen was really good.
Lineups can be crazy but they're fast and furious here. Pork-based broth is tasty but not too rich, and the meat was melting on my tongue on my visit. Actual Japanese staff made the experience awesome
Ramen of course is SO tasty, although could use a little more protein! Gyoza were even better than in Tokyo, really good! Definitely a great place to eat ????
Pork broth only. Shio , shoyu , miso and kara miso flavours. They also have toroniku ramen , with pork jaws meat.
Their seasonal ginger ramen is so good! Full of healthy ingredients , it will leave your body more energetic afterwards!
Possibly the best ramen I had so far in Toronto. Flavourful broth but subtle, not too salty . No option for thick or thin noodles , egg comes separate.
Quick and good-quality ramen . Soup is a lil salty , but very rich and good. Miso and kara miso with chasu are recommended
The meat from the toroniku ramen was better and larger portions than the meat from the Cha shu ramen . Soooo tasty!
Try the miso ramen with a side of egg and corn , it's delicious! Ask for a little less salt as the soup base by itself is quite salty .
Legit Japanese place. I found it a little bit expensive but it was so worth it. The ginger ramen in winter is perfect
New favorite ramen . Noodles are firm. Shio is full of savoury pork flavour. Thick but not too thick, nor is it too salty . Just flavour. Toroniku ramen with fatty pork cheek is super tasty.
There is someone taking names and party sizes, but she's hiding around the corner. The servers won't be of any use getting in here, seek out the gatekeeper and grab some ramen .
Shoyu ramen was really really good. I loved the gyozas so much we ordered it 3x. I'd be back for sure
I had the Shio ramen . Broth and noodles are good. Wish the pork was a bit more tender. But all in all, good ramen . Will definitely go again and try the other varieties.
The kara-miso ramen was so delicious! I had the slightly more expensive dish with the extra pork ...I recommend you have it too.
I felt much of Japanese authenticity . Servers and cooks spoke Japanese and coincidentally, there were only Asian customers lol.. Food was a bit pricey but tasted great!
Shio ramen tastes great! Their Ramen is relatively more expansive than other places!
Chances are if you're coming here you already know what's good. My only tip is that the ramen salad (w/ shrimp ) is the sole non-bone-based ramen on the menu, if that's what you're looking for.
Ramens we’re delicious! I mean really delicious! Staff are very polite and quick to serve. Totally recommend this place!
You can tell ur server to mellow down on the salt or add a bit of spice. Fully customizable ramen !
I've become so addicted to their shio ramen that I lined up 15 minutes before they open to get a seat! Their toroniku is to die for. Melts in your mouth...
Small quaint place. Noodles here are top notch. Dare I say better than Kinton Ramen .
Shoyu actually has soy sauce flavour, while Shio feels like the pure and unadulterated version of the broth
Legit chain from north Japan. My favourite in Toronto. The karai ramen is perfect. Shio ramen was a bit too salty , but not as bad as Kinton 's.
Great ramen . One of my fav spots in the city . Broth is really good, the noodles are nice and chewy.
All about the shio flavour here. Go for the Toroniku. If you're hungry - be sure to order extra noodles as you can't get them later.
Ask for the under table basket for your purse or bag. Great spot but green tea comes with tea bag in??? Bizarre.
Ramen goodness! Exactly the same Ramen Santouka franchise in Asia. Wish they would get a bigger place though. Line is always long
The ramen is fantastic. The toroniku will change your life.
I got the miso ramen . It was delicious but half way through it was too salty for me. I could not finish it because of saltiness although portion sizes look smaller here compared to other ramen places .
Go for the Toroniku spicy miso Ramen . Fatty and tasty as should be!
Kara miso ramen and gyoza are soooooooo spot on... delicious!
Much better than Kinton , will definitely come again. But if u don't like strong salty soup base which is authentic , don't come.
If you thought Hokkaido ramens were salty dont even bother trying Kinton 's. i love this restaurant 's broth. But the portion is small for its price compare to other ramen places .
I liked the pork where it comes separately on a plate. It's very soft. I like Shio .
Ramen up to the Japanese stanard. Can't go wrong with the classic sea salt or soy sauce .
The shoyu is my pick. Get gyoza as a side!
The kara miso ramen and salmon roe rice combo is my go-to order!
One of the best ramen places in Toronto. (Don't forget to add corn !)
Absolutely top 1 ramen in Toronto! Ramen is little bit salty but acceptable. Space is too small, maybe is Japanese style . Every time I go there I have to wait for more than 20 mins.
Avoid the table by the door the AC leaks snd drips on you. Other than that, amazing food, great service. One of my Top 5 restaurants .
Be warned, this is the oiliest/ greasiest of the ramen joints, and you do notice afterwards. Such is the price of flavour.
Kara miso ramen is the best in town . Crazy good gyoza here as well .
Toroniku is fantastic and possibly the best in the city . Tsuke-men not as good as a nearby rival though
Good ramen . You have to wait in line thou
One of the best Ramen in Toronto. Try their Shoyu with xtra pork and grated garlic!! - Thomas
The tonkotsu here is top notch. So rich and complex. It was worth waiting in very subzero temps for! - Kari MD
This is the best ramen I've ever eaten! Friendly staff. Cozy authentic place. - Julie Serebryakova
The Urban Eatery food court is amazing; a whole lower level with a variety of options. Had some great Mediterranean food ???????????? - Ilissa Gilmore
Try the coconut milk tea with grass jelly Absolutely divine and delicious at this location - Gary Tsang
Comfy seats. The nachos are really good and the pop corn amazing! Tuesdays $8 :) - Laura
