Best kept Disney secret & our favorite place to vacation. Pet park-nice. Watch fireworks @the marina (best are New Years!) get a golf cart , c hoop dee doo , canoe ride. Most relaxed way to do Disney.
Great place to stay if you have kids. There is 2 pools (one open 24/7). A Campfire nightly (Weather permitting), and a water show nightly. great inside transportation (but golf cart is a must)
We tent camp here and love it. We love exploring and the activities here. Most relaxing place to stay at Disney if you like the outdoors. Obnoxious kids seems less obnoxious here :)
As a non-meat eater, offered moist salmon and grilled veggies or pasta dishes. Others had reg fried chicken and meaty pork ribs . The strawberry shortcake had real berries in the glaze. Excellent meal.
Rent a paddle boat and check out the wilderness! During the holidays, rent a golf cart and make the rounds to view the Christmas lights ! Beautiful! And don't forget trails end restaurant- awesome !
The Trails End Restaurant has a take out option. Prices are really reasonable!! Great for set up day!
From cabins to camp sites, the largest resort at Disney offers a vacation in itself. Campfires , live entertainment, beach and lake activities, and more.
Rent/reserve a golf cart otherwise add ~30 mins to any trip you plan on making in our out of the campground . Internal transport is GOOD just time consuming! Could never leave and have it all. xoxoxo
Fun place for old school camping . Disney pricing but there are plenty of things to do.
Awesome spot, fun for little kids. Free, Wi-Fi, bathrooms , foodtruck ...
So much fun for the whole family! Chip'n'Dale are awesome! Making s'mores was fun too. Call ahead to Check the movie schedule.
This was our first camping trip and we had SO much fun!! The weather was perfect for s'mores and hot chocolate .
Not secluded as the website suggests. Right on the road and could see both neighbors on either side. Ferry and transportation are convenient but rent a golf cart ! Faster to get to outside bus .
Excellent camping even if you don't go to Disney. Lots of things to do and you don't even have to leave the campground .
If you are staying in the 600, 700, 800 or 900 loop hop on a yellow bus and get off at the 1500 loop walk past the pool and you are near those loops and the meadows trading post
Shuttles very infrequent, so plan on waiting a long time for transportation. Only one place for quickservice lunch in the resort , The Meadows. Don't plan on eating lunch at the settlement.
We camp a lot and this is the best camp ground EVER
Bring or rent bikes if you can manage it. They're actually faster AND cheaper than golf carts . Plus you can take them on the sidewalk!
Absolutely love this resort . Great atmosphere and beautiful, especially during the holidays.
A home away from home in the wilderness. Love it! Nice and cozy ! Family first time here.
The Hoop Tee Doo Show is fun. :-) Potatoes , ribs , and sangria are all good. Chicken is kind of dry. Good show, though.
The golf carts are not inexpensive , but they sure add to the fun of the entire resort
We had a "BLAST" here doing our "carolwood dot com" UnMeeting events . Michael gave a great presentation as he always does.
The most affordable and family oriented way to do Disney. Cabin or Camping . You cannot go wrong. Be sure to take the family on a canoe trip.
If you want a golf cart make sure to call and make a reservation you can reserve a cart up to a year in advance
A great place to stay for a family. My kids loved the bunkbeds! A short boat ride to Magic Kingdom.
Check them out around Halloween , the campers go nuts decorating their sites.
I love the pool here! It's huge and the hut tub is one of the hottest ones in disney!
Of course it’s nice.... it’s Disney!!!
Bus run every twenty mins. It took for ever to get a bus to epcot so take a ride to magic kingdom and then get to epcot
It's camping when you could enjoy amazing resorts . You chose this.
They show a movie on a Drive In type screen every night ... and before the movie you can roast marshmallows with Chip and Dale
You don't want to stay in the 900's RV sites on weekends. Too Close to the group campsites . Think: 100s of screaming cub Scouts.
Great trip for a bathing suit all day, every day. Lots of quality time with the family. Fantastic fun at Christmas , too.
Height restrictions on the pony ride . You have to be 9 years old to do the trail ride. The whole family can take the carriage ride tho.
What more can I say? I love this place.
Ask for ketchup at the restaurant in the lodge . You might get a fun surprise :)
Get to the pool early to save a spot, it fills up quick!!
One of my favorite resorts on the property
Loop 200 is awesome, close to the Marina !!!
walk down the road after 11 pm and u will find a lot of "Bambie".
Don't forget to check all discounts , AAA is a good one lately!
Take the boat here. It's a beautiful ride.
You can hear the Magic Kingdom fireworks music and sounds right on the marina beach !
Be nice to housekeeping staff-they work hard and leave fun things in you room. Tip, you slackers!
Cool place but still Disney means still expensive .
You have to come here. We love it!
Not a comfortable place in my book in hot & humid weather or in the rain.
Bring a camera and check out the awesome Christmas decorations .
Use the bath houses . Nice showers and clean .
