Dogs allowed, good food & red wine ,friendly staff ,Canal feel about the pub . Lovely will go back again
They have a big vegetarian menu and dishes like the cream of cauliflower w/ cheese
This must have changed hands since some of the previous comments. Helpful barman. Nice curries under a fiver only 2 beers on tonight & 2 ciders but busy. Don't take credit cards though unfortunately
Small, cozy , and a bit ramshackle-y, but it's quiet , along the canal , and away from the crowds. Mulled cider , mulled wine , and a fireplace sums it up.
Cozy cafe just by the canal where you can have a nice cup of tea or coffee with organic and vegan-friendly cakes !
Lovely place on the canal , with good beers and cider and ATROCIOUS food. Come for drinks. Do not eat.
Lovely canalside cafe. Love the slow pace of life here.
Quaint and cosy cafe with small bar for drink and food service. I'd stick with alcoholic drinks though - tea & coffee both watery and not the best I've ever tasted.
Staffed by Germans which is reflected in the very slow service where everything is too much trouble, and a smile would cause untold damage. If you are prepared to wait however, the beer is excellent.
4 real ales on in here bar staff have always been alright 2 me only problem is getting a seat outside in the sun
Homemade cakes are delicious. Atmosphere is cosy when fireplace in action:)
Come here for the view and for a pint, food is ok/below average. If you're in groups larger than 2, good luck with finding a table / seats.
Newly renovated with updated, veggie friendly menu
Super cosy and cheap !
One of the nicest cafes in Birmingham, just order a drink and chil at the canalside.. Try their nachos ! YUM!!!
Good selection of real ales I'm trying to work my way through.
Quite pleasant sitting outside by the canal , but barmaids with faces like slapped arses and pungent toilets don't help the ambience.
Toilets from out of the ark, if looking, just follow your nose. A
Nice location, decent food and beer , but fairly charmless and surly foreign staff . A smile would go a long way but have never seen one in several visits.
Great position and nice enough inside but smells a bit of the deep fat fryer
Credit cards accepted, but only for amounts over £10
Really cosy place to visit around Christmas . Mulled wine and mince pie fun.
Great location and service. Food is ok although its elaboration is not that great.
Lots of great veggie food and very good ales
I enjoyed having a drink here. Very cosy inside but small
Nice beer . Try jumping the canal . It's calling you!
Check out the arsey barmaids , service without a smile , or any sort of manners!
Nice place to drink in the summer but food is overpriced and disappointing, and staff are moody.
Different and chilled out
Watch out for the cider - strong!
This is one of Birmingham's hide gems
Too expensive for what it is. Just go somewhere else, will always be cheaper, and the waitress will be nicer!
Try a snake bite!
Ok ok okokok
awful service, awful food. scones store bought (not fresh) and overall a massive disappointment. give it a miss.
Staff surly, toilets filthy
Great for food at any time of the day, lovely and quiet atmosphere for a chat and a drink! - Ryan Underwood
Great little boozer. Quality pints. Cloudy Addelstons and the cask ales are recommended. Karaoke on Thursday, Friday and Sat. Gets messy! - SoFi Raykova
One of the cutest place in Brindley Place. Really nice on the inside, the drinks are good and the food is also tasty. Perfect for a night out with friends or for a date (during the week though!). - Simon
Highly recommended! Great place for bars and restaurants. Lots of high quality shops too. A must see when visiting Birmingham. - Tara Dogra
