The Westin Tampa Bay

Valet (excluding tips) and self-parking is the same rate here. Definitely my fav starwood hotel in Tampa, and fyi: ask front desk about the 2 outdoor running paths for an alternative to the treadmill .

You can rent sneakers and a workout outfit for $5. Nice sized pool for lap swim , and fitness center is adequate for a quick workout: 2 bikes , 4 treadmills , 4 ellipticalls, free weights, medicine balls

Guests service was polite,courteous and went out of their to accommodate me. Room was clean ,hotel always smelled nice and fitness equipment was damn good.

Nice area with less congestion but more options for restaurants in town . There's a restaurant but better offerings at Bahama Breeze which is in walking distance. No pool.

Set your wakeup call 5 minutes earlier than you need to get up. The front desk calls you manually rather than using a system and are often late.

Avoid room 1532. It's next to service elevator and has poor sound insulation. Advertised outdoor decks only available with conference room booking .

This place is mediocre - if you have to come here for work, great, otherwise go to Oystercatchers
