I had the jambon beurre sandwich and it reminded me of the ones from paris.. to die for. the lemonade was really good too.
We always get two ham and cheese croissants and split the fruit bowl . Best breakfast--my fave!!!
Three quiche choices! Tasty spinach and goat cheese . Very reasonable prices.
Good place for pastries and coffee
This faux French place on 2nd St is average at best. I ordered a short Americano and was appalled to watch a stone-cold double shot, be tipped into a cup of hot water and served.
The spinach and mushroom quiche was tasty!
French toast is delightful!
Can't go wrong with the smoked turkey Club sandwich .
Cinnamon spice pumpkin latte ????????
Good spot for a quick bite near Library of Congress. A little pricey for no waitress service.
Cap Hill 's Le Bon Cafe health suspension: no one certified in food safety, disposer creates sewage backup. @wusa9. Mgr showed fixed disposer. Said other issue was paperwork delay. Passed reinspection
Desserts are very fresh- very tasty!
3 words: Curried Turkey Salad .
The French toast is something to write home about!
REGRET! Took our money, didn't bother to pass order to cook. When we asked for money back, they rushed order. Who makes a croque monsieur by microwaving it? Plus algae in water dispenser! Gross!
Love love love
try the tandoori chicken wrap !

Truly among the worst service I've ever had anywhere. Totally lackadaisical staff let me stand right in front of them for about three minutes before even addressing me. HORRIBLE!! AVOID!!!
A bit overrated....

Don't get the fresh squeezed orange juice , tastes like canned. Service is really slow.
Service is slow.
Yummiest croque monsieur
Amazing coffee. Great food. Chill vibe. Reminds me of my favorite coffee shop in Santa Barbara. - Carolyn
Move over Mia’s and Loaf. The folks at Hill Cafe seemed to have discovered the right layout, menu and business model to succeed in this location. Great coffee and a huge menu for the space. - Chris Miller
One of DCs hidden gems. A great place to sit and relax in the middle of the busy mall - P J
Secret loft is upstairs in the back. They also have the reserve roasts, which I would recommend. - Tanner Mardis
