bring a friend or come as a group to try different items on the menu! tried a few teishoku dishes and the pork belly was a definite winner! add a poached egg ;)
Ambience 10/10. Tuna & nori , karaage chicken , octopus binchontans, butterbean kasujiru, blade steak tonkatsu . For dessert sesame and white chocolate soft serve .
INCREDIBLE decor & design with delicious food & sake . Great outdoor dining as well .
Best Japanese brunch in NY, hands down. Loved the tsukune set and tamago sando (more custard texture)
Everything on the menu, including the simplest chicken katsu and karaage , is perfectly executed. My favorites are the soft tofu , soufflé pancake and tamago sando .
Everything we had was amazing, but the star of the show was the broth-less ramen
One of the most surprising experiences. Oshizushi, pork jowl skewers , the wagyu beef … amazing! Plus all sakes - ask the sommelier .
Gorgeous decor, well-made food, but damn, tiny brunch portions for $24
Chicken katsu sando is perfect for brunch . Waitstaff could be checking in too frequently if they think you haven’t bought enough.
The massaman noodles were phenomenal! Pork jowl skewer was a nice add on! I also had the Dill Collisions as a drink. I would go again!
Great Japanese comfort food . A bit on the heavier side. I ate too much fried chicken and tonkatsu
Live the ambiance and service, but food itself is a little bit over priced, my fish teishoku was just ok... but the mocktails and cocktails are nice!
Tonkatsu , cocktails , decor, and vibe
Order the tonkatsu and savor the ambiance
Off to a good start with the tsukune and pork jowl skewers , mazemen is a well executed fusion dish, but katsu was an absolute disaster, dry and cut like an amateur homecook. Disappointing
Great small plates , but the service is sub par lately, with supercilious servers who seem more concerned with checking their reflection than actually serving
Stunning on all levels
Japanese breakfast and pancakes are a must!
Like traveling to LA without hitting LAX
Buddhist duck was great
Get the Japanese pancakes .
Everything.
The pancake !

Had the striped sea bass sashimi , roasted carrots , and yudofu. Loved ALL of it. Light, delicious, and refreshing
Japanese breakfast
you can make your own dashi but don't skip their unique selection of miso in the corner - miranda
They have the best hojicha latte and bento boxes! You can also get japanese soy sauce and condiments here. - Lizzy K
Industrial style cafe and shop. The store sells NY made food, clothes, & lifestyle products. And the cold brew and pastries are great too. - Julia Scinto
Their reputation is well earned. I go for the nova bagel (fresh, delicious, and now with scallion cc) and I end up leaving with donuts too. - Jeremy Moore
Really fun sake tastings - Jo
