AMAZING service, FAST AND SUPER GOOD food, there's nothing bad I an ever say about this place ^.^ takoyaki 's amazing as well #takoyaki #japaneseeatery

Shurraj Rao

As a student, you'll come to love this place. Cheap to average priced eats (you'll never find $4 ramen anywhere else) and the service is friendly too. Get the takoyaki , one of the best you can get

Chavin

The waitress suggest me with their curry don, I got it with beef : believe me, the best or not is not for me to say, but this bowl of gorgeous , will make me happy for a long time:)

Dominiquenotdom Nomura

You get a LOT of spinach for $2. The potato salad and onigiris were warm which shocked me. Tastes good though. Yakionigiri = huge hit. Niku udon = yum. Jumbo inari .. They didn't lie. It's humongous!!

Dallas Kwok

Food comes fast, delicious, and inexpensive , especially given that it's downtown. Udon is great, ramen is nothing special. Skip the takoyaki , a bit too salty and too much batter.

Peter Rukavina

A little crowded , but squeeze in: staff are friendly and helpful. The Yaki Onigiri (grilled rice balls ) are fantastic, filling and cheap .

Diana Te

It was epic! Best onigiri ever and in general awesome modern Japanese food (and I've been to Japan, so I can vouch for it)!

bibz

Cheap and moderately delicious but in a not so lovely environment. Great for when you don't care about ambiance and high quality.

Maryann

Delish Curry Udon with Beef . The staff are efficient and friendly

Lisa Lee

Oscar R. means IF you order Tsukimi udon make sure you add meat to it...when I first read his tip I thought he meant order it as in its their best dish.

Michael

Awesome, real Japanese food and the biggest selection of hitachino beer I've ever seen (pricey but worth it)

S H

Great great restaurant , cheap and delicious :) best Takoyaki in town

Meredith Hertzler

Not expensive . A good amount of food. Friendly staff . I recommend the Una Tama Don.

Bea

Their takoyaki is a must try!!! Worth waiting 20 min. Combo is also a good deal for an extra $2. You can get noodle refills :9

Mimi

Conveniently by OCAD. Very reasonable prices. Looks pricy on the outside but once you're inside, you get yo bang for buck.

Anna Kwan

Get the niku udon with pork rather than beef . The beef shreds way too much and becomes beef dust :( The pork tastes like love!

Nick Tan

Budget-friendly but delicious Japanese food ! Servings are appropriate for the price.

Kyo Song

Excellent Takowasa! (wasabi octopus )

Michelle Chen

Cheap & GREAT jap food! Get the combo, its only +$2 but you get a choice of 2 of salad , soup , chip or takosen (which is takoyaki wz crackers ). And a udon noodle soup wz combo only cost $8 somethin Read more

Maryann

Marvin

Best bang for your buck at Village by the Grange. Love their food!

Stefan Kupych

Kake udon combo w/ salad and takosen is probably one of the most satisfying meals for under $10 (with tax & generous tip) that I've ever had in this city .

Lisa Lee

Niku udon with pork is soooo good! Cheap food that tastes great.

Alejandro Portela

Will come back to try the takosen !

K T

Great udon !

Anaïs Pavard

Yakitori don and green tea ice mochi are the best

Shurraj Rao

As a student, try this place out. If this place doesn't fit your budget, I don't know any other place that will.

Atef Chaudhury

Very reasonable price for a bowl of beef and rice .

Mike Tang

Best takoyaki I've had in Toronto, as good as the ones I've had in Japan

Sahar Elias

Cliff Seto

Best takoyaki in the city ! Curry don the best too!!

jade

Try the Takoyaki - Amazing as always! Must try if you never had...

@mmuralla

If you come here for Takoyaki call 20-30 minutes before to make your order. It takes about 20 minutes to make. Here's their phone number (416) 979-6763.

helen hewetson

Get the combo. With takosen . And yes, it's worth the time it takes to cook it.

Adrienne (@fabavg)

Order the niku udon - you won't be disappointed! AND noodle refill only $1.10.

Jason Kucherawy

They have a Japanese dark beer here - very rare! Give it a try! Asahi Black! Or is it Kirin Black?

Justin Wu

This place is a hidden gem . Nice cheap affordable udon/ramen

Johnny Cheung

Any udon with extra noodles is amazing. Combo it with takosen and a salad for deliciousness!

Nick Skibinsky

Curry don is the best!

oscar rivero

whatever you do, get the tsukimi udon with beef .

Monica Lee

Ramen was okay...soup was a bit spicy for me
