The 34-seater restaurant serves Unagi in three different styles: Hitsumabushi, Seiro Mushi and Mamushi Donburi. Hitsumabushi is a signature dish served at Miyagawa’s outlets in Japan.

Miyagawa Honte’s 1st oversea outlet, servings unagi in only 3 styles. It is not easy to find their location, look for the center of the building where there is a connection in between.
Cheaper parking . For dinner , park right below @ Village Residence ($3 per entry after 6pm) & for lunch , Fraser Place Robertson Walk next door ($1.50 for 1st hr, 50-cents every subsequent 30 mins)
Interesting way to eat Hitsumabushi . Step 1. Fill smaller bowl w rice & unagi . Step 2. Add garnishes . Step 3. Pour some soup in and eat
They take reservations for lunch and dinner on weekdays. Call to make your reservation to avoid disappointment!
Loved the hitsumabushi . Medium was a good size for a guy.
Unagi here has a bit of a fishy taste. Rice , presentation and restaurant interior is nice tho.
Unagi bento is decent but varied in taste and portion. Service was bad. Had to repeatedly ask for tea refill and waitress kept hardselling expensive sake without giving a thought to our taste profile
