Everything is good. Fun time. Lots of vendors, many organic or pesticide free. Best of Cali produce, food, fish every season. Winter veggies abound right now. See you Wednesday...my day to shop!
All organic , I love being there on a Wednesday noon... You can buy the moooost delicious hummus there, don't forget to ask for the lemony pita chips !
LOVE the prepared foods at Sukhi's stand. My favorites are the Roasted Eggplant Spread and Veggie Paratha . And the samosas , of course. They will always make you a deal if you buy a few things, too!
Walk through all the stands so you get the best deal: prices vary and some herb stands discount the more bundles you buy. Fish stand in the back sells swordfish chunks for cheap !
The market is great for pandemic shopping as it’s very well ventilated and everyone is wearing PPE. I love the Miramonte farm stall
The last vendor (closest to city hall ) has amazing deals on plants. Bought an amazing orchid for $12; starter herbs, lettuces and succulents are $1.
Definitely bring cash! Relatively small farmer’s market with lots of produce. You can cover it in 20 minutes easily. Nice vendors.
Best day is Sunday. If you wait til after 1, you can get a lot more deals. Very thin on Fridays. More food trucks on Wednesday
Amazing how affordable and good quality the produce is! Pro tip, come towards the end of the day when a lot of the produce gets marked down!

Don't pass up the Honey Farm people as they make an amazing lavender infused honey that is amazing!
Wednesday and Friday are official farmers market days. Thursday look for Off the Grid food trucks ! Beware, though, the neighborhood is a little sketch.
Parmesan Garlic spread , and some cornbread from the bakery . Don't forget the zucchini bread . TONS of samples, and kettle corn ! Best selection in the AM, best deals after 3PM.
Good produce and prices... and nicer than the habitual homeless encampment.

Don't miss the thin crust pizzas from Copper Top Oven. They're the westernmost food stand on Market St and the only one with a wood-fired oven.

Get some kettle corn from Gold Rush Kettle Corn ! It's freshly made in small batches cooked right out of the kettle for you to watch. It is pure awesomeness.

Every wednesday morning. Not the best quality produce but more affordable than other markets .
Order a roasting chicken on Sunday for pick up on Wednesday. Free range , farm fresh and totes delish. Also, stop by the nut guy and get some cinnamon almonds and garlic pistachios . Unbeatable!
Coppertop Oven Pizza -- great pizza cooked on the spot in a wood-fired oven!
The prices here are a cheaper than most grocery stores , and definitely than Ferry Plaza farmers market .
A lot of the farms here actually are organic (or at least pesticide free and have great farming practices) but can't afford to get certified. Which means: you can get organic produce at a big discount
