Everything at Boke Bowl will leave you 2/3rds full which is just where you want to be. The pork ramen is what I keep coming back for. If you go with the buns , try one of each. Busiest hours are 12-2.
NON-TRADITIONAL ramen , i.e. fried chicken , root vegetables , and brocolli in your ramen . I suggest the chicken and pork broth with fried chicken and poached egg . Don't miss the pork and eggplant buns .
Like Toshi's in Eugene, but actualy good. The noodles actually pick up the flavor of the broth! I've been looking for ramen like I had in Japan. This place is SO close. I'd eat the Pork ramen again.
Flavorful, small portions. Even when busy, service and food delivery is quick. Very strong pork flavor throughout ramen .
Not your traditional bowl of ramen . Caramelized fennel dashi ramen is meh but the eggplant steam bun is flavorful and tasty.
Brussels sprouts salad+fried chicken , Sui Mai, and pork ramen ! Everything I've had here is really great. Enjoy!
The chicken & pork broth takes two days to make here. That deliciousness' then combined with handmade noodles + addables like the excellent buttermilk fried chicken . Read more
Hell yes! They have amazing gluten-free noodles and tasty drinking vinegar
Ramen and rice bowl heaven. Handmade noodles , slow food, and pop-up shop origins, this was an instant favorite for me that I’m sure will have lasting appeal.
Excellent ramen . Get kimchi or a seasonal pickle with your bowl, then skip the line if you want more later.
From @mrgan: "A casual , lightweight Momofuku-inspired ramen joint. The ramen is good, the buns are better, the fried chicken is stellar. Lots of fun little sides."
The fried chicken on Thursday nights is delicious. Also great that Ramen is served on Thurs nights now as well . Wish they were open every night!
The ramen was great!
The ramen bowls change periodically so check the menu now and then. Try the sweet pickles .
Steamed buns are delicious, do yourself a favor and grab one with your meal!
Not your traditional Ramen , but still delicious. Pork Belly steamed buns were great!
Not super hungry? Get the bambino bowl , even if your a grown ass adult. But add a poached egg - you'll thank me.
Only place I've ever actually chosen to have Brussel sprouts and cauliflower in a salad . Seafood Miso is top.
Ramen is so worth it here. Great portions. Hope you dont mind cafeteria seating!
The fried pears taste like gummy candy . The pickled cucumbers were just the right mix of sweet and spices.
Bit of trivia , the branding of this spot is done by Always With Honor, a design shop based in Portland.
Peanut butter and Jelly buns are pretty amazing. Love the fried chicken . In general a big a fan of boke.
I got the pork ramen with pork belly added on. The pork belly was hard and had a strange flavor. The broth was pretty bland. Good miso Twinkie and coconut tapioca .
Get the fried oysters , the fried chicken and the seafood ramen
Pork Belly Buns are so good! Ah my god! They're like a Japanese flavored taco of pork ! YUM
The bambino bowl is plenty for an adult with a modest appetite. And only $6!
Tofu rice bowl and veggie steamed buns !
No cutting in line ! (It's long.) And absolutely no saving a table -- ya gotta order first. (They're serious.)
The current seasonal salad is one of the best salads I've had in my life.
This fun place is great for fresh ramen and steamed buns .
Splurge and get the fried chicken .
The brussel sprout salad is one of the best things that has ever happened to my mouth
Clean , efficient, great food, and had high chairs . Will definitely be back.
Love the Brussels sprout and cauliflower salad
Fantastic ramen ! Great tofu . Definitely come back tomorrow
Ramen wasn't great. Broth tasted too dark and noodles were alright. Understand that it is a fusion place but I've had way better ramen before...just not in PDX! Cool vibe and quick service tho.
The fried pears are super savory, and super delicious.
The broth (with pork belly !) was delicious. The noodles were... eh.
Tofu rice bowl , add egg . Sweet gods of kimchi-pickle tongue frollicks!
Slow smoked pulled pork ramen with a slow poached egg and buttermilk fried chicken oh my good good yes do it.
My favorite vegetarian ramen in Portland.
Fried chicken bowl, y'all. Great place for quick, cheap eats.
Steam buns !!! Ask for extra green onion . They rock. -eggplant & mushroom .
Caramelized fennel ramen with pork belly . Whisky coco !
You gotta try the vanilla miso twinkies!
Get the pork ramen with fried chicken and an egg !
The rice bowls are an awesome alternative to the brothy bowls.
Pork brisket steam bun is amaze-balls. Get it!
Recommended by notable food critic Rick "Noodlehead" Schwanz who rates Boke Bowl " the epitome of noodledom!"
Get the fried chicken dumplings or don't bother coming to my adult baptism.
Best General Tso's Chicken in Portland, and of course the noodle dishes are superb. - Liz
Tonkotsu ramen is pretty tasty and comes out FAST. Love the pork belly and egg. Noodles are a little out of my goldilocks zone - Brook Shelley
The ramen is awesome here...get a fried egg in it & it's even better. - Kelly Ripley Feller
