new orleans ranger fresh air tours knowledgeable staff exhibits

The rangers are very knowledgeable and a walk through the exhibits before going out to the grounds is a must. Be sure to walk the entire grounds!

Love history and I have to say that I was really impressed with the Park ranger he was quite knowledgeable with the story I definitely love going somewhere and learning something

Actual tower has spiral staircase and pathetic view from the top... visitors center is small, but has a gift shop and has an exhibit with an in-depth look at the Battle of New Orleans

Jeanne S.

If your on the riverboat trip don't stay & listen to the ranger talk, it takes so long you won't have time to walk around & see the sites! Pick up a history book if you don't already know the details

Favorite is the graveyard. I went at night. Love to see the refinery lights at night from there

Ms Helene

History buffs will enjoy this

"This isn't the first time New Orleans has survived the British," says a recent NOLA tourism campaign. Well , come here and see what happened the first time. Andrew Jackson + Jean Lafitte FTMFW.

Don't go to the main house. It's empty. The ranger leaves it open just to air it out.

David Fenner

Walk to the visitor's center. Worth it.

Bren Buras-Elsen

A morning visit in the heavy fog of January will let you imagine the battleground scene of 1814.

Michelle Anderson

Gorgeous land and amazing history

Se ci arrivate con il tour in battello, il consiglio è di scendere dalla barca tra i primi e non perdere un istante. Nel giro di mezz'ora bisogna reimbarcarsi. Rischiate di non vedere nulla.
