Very busy on Sunday afternoon as its reputation starts to spread; owner-chef Foong was a former Tung Lok Chef . Must try Liu Sha Bao & Prawn Dumpling . Opening Hrs: 7am-6pm. Closed on alternate Tuesday.
Good and cheap dim sum place. Must tries: prawn dumplings , steamed carrot cake , crispy red bean paste with banana , signature salted egg custard Pau.
All dimsum is small in portion n caters for 3. Liu sa bao was small n skin was abit thick. But still not bad. Like the red bean banana , carrot cake , beancurd prawn roll . The rest was decent n normal.
Tried here 4 e 1st time .Overall gd compared 2 coffeeshop Tim sum n e price u pay. Liu sha pao skin rather thick n filling lacked e taste of salted egg . Xiao long/char siew pao was nice ! Worth coming
Har Gao (steamed prawn dumpling ) is nice ($3.80). Skin of Xiao Long Bao is a tad thick alto it is reasonable at $3.80 for 3.
Banana an red bean paste fritters is to die for. Had 2nds!!

Wonder why the Golden Custard Bun was recommended by ieatishootipost , it is the worst that i ever tasted. Skin is thick, lack of salted egg taste and its shouldnt be called Golden Custard Bun at all!

Glutinous rice/siew Mai (lean meat) nice too !! Yam puff was ok but filling lacked the aroma , maybe should use duck meat instead of pork .
Quite disappointed with the quality of the items. Been there done that.
Prepare to wait (very) long. Not that many ppl around but no idea why the steaming process is extremely slow.

The cold dish is fantastic, as good as those in Shanghai. Xiao Long Bao skin is a bit thick but the soup with the meat is awesome. Fried dumplings also very tasty. - P Y Wong
