Nice garden , located in the city centre but yet well hidden. You need to go and get your drink if sitting in the garden ..
I was a little unsure to put this on the map, but its one of Manchester's finest, most of the people that come here are decent. The occasional bad egg may wonder in but its rare. MARKS 7/10
Nice atmosphere and service, authentic food. Had the Corned Beef Hash and Sticky Toffee Pudding , both splendid.
Good for friends/chat...decent English fare...try the hash brown starter...good selection of wines & cool Sommelier
Great beer garden around the back - note its quite far around the back!
Very nicely furnished old pub with a fair selection of beer on tap . Average pub food .
Sunday roast beef is to die for. As good a Sunday dinner as you could ever hope for. Highly recommend.
Love the corned beef hash with a poached egg on top, good hearty food ????
Nice little "hidden" beer garden . Great looking interior as well .
Nice outdoor sitting area on the back for those rare sunny Manchester days
Amazing interior. Great real ale .
Excellent food: try the belly pork , beautifully tender with great gravy
very nice traditional pub to grab a beer .
Search out the beer garden , great when the weather is good twice a year
I love the Lancashire cheese & onion pie
Go just to check out the building itself; it’s fascinating.

This restaurant is my favorite steakhouse and I have never been unsatisfied. Tried most of the dishes my favorites are fillet steak and Tomahawk. The prices are expensive but worth it and good service - Abdullah
The brown onion soup and corned beef hash is to die for. The bar is over 150 years old, warm and cosy.A great place to eat - Marc Richards
