The beer ’s a bit pricey , but there’s a decent number of hand pumps & they usually have some stock from small breweries . The outside drinking area is very pleasant in good weather.
Looks lovely on the outside but gets busy quickly at weekends with all day drinkers, especially at weekends or when the footy is on
Lovely roast turkey and really friendly staff . The downstairs section is eerily quiet but upstairs has more life.
Amazing atmosphere. You almost feel like you have travelled back in time. A must see.
Relocated after the IRA bombing of the Arndale shopping centre. Great real ale .

Pretty old timber building. Wallk through, have a look. AVOID ordering a food. Bad bad quality of food. BAD food, no wonder that the place was pretty empty, nevermind Wednesday evening..
