I just love this place, great place for meeting people, drinks are the cheapest in Manchester and when the sun shines you couldn’t be in a better place
A shame there are no hand pumps, but the beer at this Sam Smith’s pub is unbelievably cheap & the building has plenty of historic features. The outside seating is also very pleasant in good weather.
Great location, you can drink some pints in one of the oldest pubs in Manchester . When there is nice temperature the outdoors is great!
One of my favourite pubs in Manchester city centre. Some great beers (try any of the stouts ) and nice atmosphere. Very affordable as well

Taddy's Lager is one of the best pints ever tasted. For real . Also cheap as hell. Give it a try !
Lovely place in the sun. Good prices on beer
If it's your first time, have a wander round. It's a proper warren of a pub , little side rooms everywhere.
Great bar to start a summer's evening out in town . Cheap beer and a big outside area to watch the world go by whilst drinking.
Nice atmosphere and amazingly cheap drinks--a Taddy lager for only 2.12 £!
Great Beer , and at £7.88 per round of 4 pints its unreal value!
Lots of choice, cheap beers and good atmosphere
Cozy pub near the National Football Museum , though they serve beer in plastic glasses...
Very nice and cozy place, some bartenders have bad attitude!
As long as Humphrey Smith of Sam Smith 's Old Brewery isn't in, is worth a visit for a pint

Tables usually sticky. But perfect place to meet a large group of people as there is so much space, and reasonable prices. It's also pretty swanky for a Whetherspoons. - Ian J Watson
