Kind of Crowded but a really cute little museum . There is a great outdoor area but in the afternoon/weekends it can become crazy.
Get the membership if you have > 1 toddler/small child, as we do; it will pay for itself in no time. It's a big enough place - go for an hour at a time & really play 'til you drop! Love this museum !!
Far too crowded . My best advice if you have young children is to get a membership and only stray for an hour or so at a time. In the summer when the camp kids come it gets absurdly crazy/crowded
Lots of great interactive play areas . The water room can be slippery so be careful.
Avoid during school vacations! It was a mad-house!! Weekday early afternoons are usually the best time to go.
Cool spot for kids to enjoy themselves out of their brain
The underland area was pretty cool, but I'm a soil scientist, so I might be biased.
The water room and so many activity areas!
Go upstairs to the Teddy Bear Hospital to help heal a bear and you get to take it home c/o Build-a-Bear
Managing two small kids on the second floor is made easier by the relatively short walls dividing the left/right sides.
Don't try to show the kids how to put a puzzle together because you'll never get out alive.
Free but Limited parking
Memberships are well worth it!
Get the bubble man for your next kids party.
Go early and visit the indoor "water play" area first. bring a change of clothes !
Become a member. Well worth it.
Have a blast!
Show your Bank of America ATM card and get in for free!
Grown-ups ARE allowed to climb the Climber!

Cool small museum. Highly recommended. I loved the student work. I mean, obviously, because RISD is like the best art school in the US. - Vlada Mashkovich
Excellent tour guides. Very informative about RI history in relation to the slave trade. Well worth the time. - Jayne Travers
Three levels of shopping and an IMAX theatre on top - uh-mazing! We love chilling out at the Border's Books Music & Café before a movie starts, reading magazines of course! - Seventeen
Love the tacos here! This place is awesome. The outdoor seating is sweet, drinks are great and the food was delicious! Highly recommend. - Mike Neilan
