I cannot say enough good things about Poilâne. Not a ton of pastries in the Cherche-Midi shop but what they serve, they do v well . Tartes aux pommes had me salivating after every bite. GO!
Great place for breakfast (they have a coffee place next door). Their croissant is perfect
Famous for their massive sourdough loaves, which are luckily available by the slice ("tranche"). Pain Chocolat is also extremely good.
As you step into this bakery , you would notice that the sourdough bread is commonly used here. This bakery also offers some excellent pastries .
Amazing sourdough that you can purchase by weight in slices. Still delicious after freezing. Didn't have a good experience with the pain au chocolat , found it way too dense
Best croissants . No competition. No seating here for retail (though there is a sit down restaurant ) so get your pain au chocolat and take it to a nearby park .
Amazing pain au chocolat , delicious tartelettes aux pommes, and the flakiest croissants
The most amazing apple tartlet, even if it looks unassuming. Get it.
When in Paris.. you are simply obligated to try the famous croissants and pain au chocolat at least once. And trust us; this is the place to do it!

Nice small and very French. But no where near as good as all the reviews. I am sorry but I have had better croissants from supermarkets !
Apparently one of the best croissants in the town . Very packed, not able to speak in english. Pastry was nice but could be more fre
Croissants are very delicious! Love it ????????????
Try their Poilâne sourdough bread here. They char the crust and is great with some fresh, salted butter on it.
Crossiants and punitions are a must-buy. So is their special miche. Look out for their bread chandelier at the back.
Pain au chocolate ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ The best I ever had.
Head over to Poilane for one of the city ’s (and the world’s) most famous pain au chocolat . While you’re there, grab some bread , a raisin bun , and basically whatever else you can get your hands on.
Great rustic loaves. Decent croissants . Pass on the flan .
The true & unique French bakery - Pain Poilâne is a world reference - their biscuits are awesome
Get their bread . It's their claim to fame and the recipe has been in their family for many generations
Croissant and pain du chocolat are worth a try if you are int the area. Fair price .
No dining at the bakery , but brunch on Sundays at Cuisine de Bar right next door.
The croissants here are a delicacy. I'm also not a big fan of apple deserts but the tart is amazing.
Probably best for getting a loaf of bread as opposed to a pastry . No place to sit here.
Incredible bread and food delivered by friendly and authentic people
Great bread . Apple pie is magnificent. Bit pricey though
Most delicious croissants i have ever tasted in my life! Soo gooood

below-average croissant , but great sourdough bread !
Apple pastry and flan is delicious!!
The apple tart was pretty awesome.
It was the worst croissant in my life. They brought it from somewhere outside. No people there at all. Staff is listening their own music , had feeling that I’m in the after party
Bread and cookies were fantastic
If you love bread we have to visit this place.
I don't think I've had a better chocolate croissant (pain au chocolat .)
Breakfast was excellent
good croissant and chausson aux pommes
