Recently had lunch at the Queens Market Deli . Fried chick breast were utterly fantastic. The helping was so big I could only eat one.

Sansei sushi is award-winning, one if the best in all of Hawaii. Friday and Saturday features late evening half price sushi & rolls.

Plus: nice island clothing and jewelry shops and a convenient grocery store .

There is a US Mail drop beyond the restrooms if your postcard is all ready for mailing. Look for the out going mail slot with the PO boxes for the.stores.

The whole complex is on the old lava flow !!

Obvs a huge tourist trap but there's AC and good for when you've burned out on driving.

For tourists the restrooms aren't in the stores but are between them. They are unisex.

Too much cement and not enough vegetation or shade.

Great shops! Sansei has really good sushi . Highly recommend the shrimp appetizer ! It's their specialty!!
