In San Diego, there is nothing else like it. Designed to rival the finest hotels of Europe, every room at the Westgate Hotel is drenched in natural light from windows framing views of harbor yachts, a sunset sky or the shimmering city.

Gorgeous hotel downtown. There was a jar of fresh cookies at check in. The bar had jazz music in the evening. Felt like I was transported back to 1920. Walking distance to Gaslamp and Little Italy
Marie Antoinette'd approve of afternoon tea here, amidst the beautiful ornate interiors that spoke of the Rococo era! Love how there's a live harp performance while we tea-ed . Validated 2 hr parking .
Sunday brunch is a SD must! Don't miss the caviar , hamachi sashimi and fresh oyster Bloody Mary shots.
The place has a rather stuffy & uppity vibe, however the Sunday brunch is easily 1 of the top 3 brunches I've ever had! There's such a large variety, I suggest trying little bits of a lot of things
A luxury hotel in San Diego downtown. Good location, beautiful Interiors , but the service level is low. We had to call for cleaning the room!!
Nice fancy interior and great place for tea . Entrance a little hard to find, its in the middle of the building
Amazingly comfy hotel . The staff were incredibly helpful. Was able to get a room for comic-con at the last second using Kayak .
It's old Victorian themed but it's cute and clean though it looks old. They have tea time and the gym is amazing!
How many places do turn down service with chocolates on your pillow ? Love the old fashioned, classic hotel in downtown San Diego.
Amazing rooftop pool and overlooking gym area (there is a full fitness Center elsewhere)
The very large, outdoor 3rd floor rooftop terrace is a fantastic venue for special events and charitable fundraisers. Plenty of space for 1,000 or more people.
The fantastic chief conciërge : she gave us good tips 4 sightseeing San Diego. The breakfast is THE most important meal of the day: enjoy it here!
Great Saturday night jazz with Gregory Page from 8-11pm. Not your average hotel jazz .
excellent location, very helpful staff , relaxing stay!
The Sunday brunch food is excellent. Come hungry!
Nice rooftop views
Be sure to meet Shraddha Carlin the concierge and smiling, friendly face of the Westgate.
The parking fee 37.50 a night . Horrible I know but I couldn't find near by parking lots with "in and out" privileges or overnight choices. On top of the ridiculous parking fee there is a 15 hotel fee
Come to the lounge on Monday night for the best live music in S.D.!!!!
Around 0800 they come in to turn down the bed and leave chocolates-it's great!
Awesome staff great catering . Come here every year for company holiday party
Enjoy the holiday with a refined four course dinner or lunch , $59 for adults.
Great location, affordable , comfortable and a touch of elegance!
Parking on second ave across from the hotel is free. It's a green curb but the meeter maid nevvver come by. Low risk of gettin a ticket. BAM
They leave chocolates on your bed when you leave!
Very pretty rooms.

Great location and chill dining, best tea service.
Hotel should be 4 stars and not 5. It's not worth the extra fees but good service overall
Elegant hotel , great service. Read more
The overnight valet charge is ridiculous at $32. There are other lots nearby for less.
Watch out for k-beezy
No pool or spa and gym is very small :(
