Really cool underwater viewing areas. Online tickets w discount , but must be booked a day in advance. Worth the visit if you enjoy sea life .
There are wonderful beautiful creatures here but every aspect of the visit feels like an effort to either move you through or take your money. Beautiful sea life contrasted with contrived capitalism.
It's really good. Three floored and big. Sharks, penguins ,jellyfishes . And alotof places for children. There is a big shop for gift and etc. I enjoy it.
It's an aging place but still amazing experience for your kids. Not so much for you if you know a thing or two about nature, but they will definitely enjoy it.
A very good aquarium , especially compared to others I've been to. All interior, so nice and cool. Large variety of sea creatures too!
You should see the shark tunnel which is amazing! That's a great place for families with kids. Don't forget to visit the souvenir store .
Buy tickets online to avoid immense queue to to ticket office on site. Aquarium itself is impressive with lots of spicies from all over the world (mostly warm waters).
Fantastic for kids - beautiful dramaturgy in the way you're led through the aquarium with excellent timing. Shark oceanarium was huge - kids Explora afterwards brilliant. Our 2 and 4 y.o. VERY happy!!
Purchase tickets on-line. Get 10% discount and enter the aquarium without staying in the line at all. The aquarium is quite old and needs a QUITE GOOD renovation especially at interactive features.
With over 450 species of aquatic creatures, 35 separate tanks, and an underwater tunnel that spans 80 meters, this Aquarium is sure to impress the entire family and make for an unforgettable day out
A shark tank of moderate size. The whole aquarium could use renovation. Pretty crowded with school excursions on a working day. Flaky WiFi . Really nice penguin tank, though, and a decent shop.
You can dive with the sharks! I got it as a gift for my girlfriends 25th, and the staff was super friendly and helpful.
It is good for children. Not too big facilitiy but enough. There is one really good foodcourt in there.
I had a really great time here! A lot of beautiful fishes , good organization and explanations. Worth every cent I've spent.
A good way of spending a couple of hours, especially with kids.
Nice aquarium , must have for kids. They feed sharks 1230 CET on Tuesdays. Buy ticket online, not to wait ages to get in
20 euros is a bit much. But sharks are impressive, coral reef fish are adorable, and if you are lucky enough, you get to see penguins having twitchy sex.
Looks a bit poor despite the magnificent building and the tunnel . In St. Petersburg (Russia) you can find a lot more lovely fishes :)
I guess the biggest attraction are the sharks, but my son loved everything :-)
If you've been to aquariums across the world, Barcelonas cant really compete. However shark tank is impressive. Terrace offers nice views to the city . Entrance fee quite high.
Huge diversity of sea creatures . You can spend good two-three hours in here
Except the sharks, it’s a really poor aquarium , not the worth the money. Go to the Valencia one instead, you’ll enjoy it much more ????????????
Great journey through a wide variety of sea life . Totally worth it but quite expensive , though.
It was very expensive to get in but the aquarium itself has some nice exhibits . I think it was a bit too pricey but we had a nice time. The revolving platform was a neat touch.
Beautiful and interesting aquarium with an impressive 'shark'-tunnel. Nice views of the harbour from the cafeteria .
Everybody who like fishes should go there. There are a lot of them. It takes at least 2 hours to visit without hurry. Don't miss penguins hall after tunnel .
Don´t miss the impressive shark tank in the Barcelona Aquarium !
Long queue, Just buy tickets online and go straight in. Just download the pdfs in advance, they have to be generated With names
Entry 19 euros . So be sure you like sharks very much. Other than that, quite decent place that can be seen in 1-1,5 hour. Enjoy. :)
The original home of the animals issued in the Aquàrium Barcelona, is primarily the Mediterranean Sea and the tropical waters.
Definitely one of the best places to visit with kids. Buy tickets online.
Not worth the time. Sea life is reduced to an empty, mindless attraction . No attempt is made to create a meaningful connection between animals and visitor. They're treated just as a marketing prop. ????
Go to cosmocaixa, it's 4€ each and you spend more time and see more fish . 20€ is a massive rip off and my son was bored after 30 mins. Head to any Carrefour to get a 4€ discount if you want to pay.
A really nice aquarium . Especially if you have kids you must visit!!!
Eat at the mall before you go in as the cafe is overpriced, badly cooked junk food. The walkway is the best bit but otherwise I'd probably save your €20 for something better!
If you went to other Aquariums I would skip this one, nothing sensational, especially considering 20 euros entrance fee.
you can get a 2€ discount if you buy a ticket to Barcelona City Guide Tour
The underwater tunnel was amazing. Though no one was there to answer our questions.
Tired collection. Crowded . Filled with adults mindlessly snapping photos and recording videos on their phones while blocking views of the tanks.
Buy a ticket on internet (18€)
Pretty expensive (19 Euro ) and they nag you to take a picture after the entrance. You don't have to buy it (it's 8 Euro ), but it's still a annoying, since it's slowing down the entrance process.
loved the penguins
Awesome, don't miss it
Loved it!! The shark tank was exciting!! Take your kids!!
Good fun for the kids. However, be prepared to wait in line for a while to get your entrance ticket.
Quite expensive : the visit is very quick. But the tunnel under the aquarium (Wotherspoon sharks and other fishes ) is spectacular
Water tunnel under sharks, jellyfishes , eels . Missed turtles . Possibility to dive with sharks
It was a great scenery to take the family too.
Not a great aquarium , the shark tunnel is alright but overall it's not worth the entrance fee. You can buy tickets online at a discounted rate but these can't be used on the same day of purchase.
Quite expensive but worth a visit, especially with kids - there is a web discount of 1 euro if you register.
The queue is really long, better come 10-15 minutes before the show. But don't worry to much, it moves fast after opening. - Pereperchili
Es de las mejores tiendas de mascotas que he visto, tienen de todo. - joanpccom
Amazing place, nice shops and a lot of restaurants with an amazing view to the sea, great times! - Rwan
Great beach with warm, clear water (here in July) with no current. There's a lifeguard and plenty of places to get cheap mojitos! Very crowded but if you don't mind it's great - Chris Caricato
The Teleferico above the port gives you a great view. Downpoints: you have to wait in the queue for two hours. - Sveta
