There are perfectly wonderful dogs (both purebred and mixed) in shelters who die when people buy puppies in stores like this. Shelter dogs are generally cheaper as well . Think about that for a minute.
I have been here several times and seen MANY purebred puppies! They have a nice staff who will let you play with the dogs. Just don't come between 12-1 because its nap time !!!!
The puppies are discomforting to see like this. For every one sold, a shelter dog dies. If that bothers you, turn around and go to your local shelter.
The store is crowded during wknds with people that only ask to pet the dogs, the employees don’t have any control over the lines and they don’t even know the breeds or prices for their dogs... shame!
Don't listen to the naysayers, we got a very healthy Huskey puppy from this Petland. He's beautiful and a joy.
The employees there are really nice!
If you want to play with the animals, you have to avoid nap time .
