What an absolutely beautiful place, every inch of this place is eye catching. Would definitely recommend taking a trip to the top!
10 floors. 2 hidden gardens on balconies . Free wifi . A cafe on ground floor with mezzanine above. Link to the REP. Shakespeare memorial room at the top! Great for tourists ! Great for photography !

Definitely go to the secret garden . It is very lovely in the evening.
Go to the balcony for a scenic view . Then sit down with a book you like.
Really bright and open and the Shakespeare room on the top has great views of the city .
There are a map collection on level 4. must to visit if you are interested in map and geological, or topographic areas.
Take the stairs and burn calories! There are side lifts but take ages to come. But escalators and travelator in use all the time (when open).

The library closed on Sunday during Spring time. Not sure about other term time.

Avoid the cafe ...over priced and poor quality food..and the coffee reminds me of the old powder Maxwell House..appalling.

On the 9th Floor. Visit during the daytime for the best view. The night views are obscured by the interior lighting reflecting off the windows. Also a nice old-fashioned library room w/ wood paneling - David Kolodziej
