Café de la Paix

Such a lovely restaurant . I had the frois grois, which comes with a fruit compote and delicious brioche , and it was so yummy. As everyone else has said, people watching is great here.

A bit on the expensive side, but worth a visit to people watch overlooking the Opera when you sit outside. I highly recommend the Cafe de la Paix salad prepared with greens, shrimp , etc... divine!

Certainly on the pricey side, but one comes here for the stories. It's 151 year-old, Sarah Bernhardt & Princesse Eugénie were regulars, and their chocolate is amongst the very best in Paris. À faire !

Excellent Café in great location. Actually a café and a more posh restaurant , separate seating and menus. People, seriously, stop complaining about prices. The food, service, location are excellent.

Nice place. Had the menu decouverte and was overall good. Especially good a little macaron du foie gras we received as a starter, foie gras with rhubarb , and lamb .

I love the interior design and the view outside. We asked for a cold chocolate and they served us a bottled chocolate milk . Salads and sandwiches are good. Overpriced but it's Paris.

Excellent service and the place inside the restaurant is awesome. The waiter Nazih so friendly and helpful. You can see his smile all the time.

This Café located in front of the Opera . Excellent service ,good food,and nice interior decoration. I'd return if I'm in Paris again.

It's about the whole experience not just the food (which was exquisite) Was pampered by the personnel & the head of staff came 2me 2c by herself how my meal was going. You're in excellent hands here.

My favorite spot in Paris. Grab an outdoor table with a view of the Opera Garnier, and order a Croque Madame .

Overlooking the opera ! And their chocolate croissant is the best in Paris. Their black coffee is so good. Try their vegetable omelette .

love, love, love the Cafe de la Paix salad with shrimp , pineapples , the freshest greens... sure a bit expensive , but the portion is huge and very filling with a fantastic dressing !

Tha atmosphere is amazing. Coffee , croissants and all pastries are superb.Service is great and in general de food is outstanding.

Pricy but the mille-feuille worth it, I liked their coffee latte too, I Highly recommend it.

Perfect for a break in the day. Club sandwich and sandwich vegetarian were good. Would not recommend the Cesar salad

Friday night: watch people dance by the opera house and listen to 1930 French music . Mille-feuille is to die for...

Great ambience but the food is simply average at best. Not surprising considering how it's on of the busiest tourist streets. Worth giving a miss. Take your money to other fine dining establishments!

Great place with the excellent view . Food is very nice, as well as service. Will definitely visit again once I am in Paris.

For the tourist who wants an over-the-top dinner . Eat inside for the full, gilded dining experience. Be ready to pay like a tourist .

We had coffee late it was average, and we had two kind of dessert one was mille feuille it was nice and the other one was Opera chocolate cake and it was average.

The elegant Café de la Paix is good for the occassional splurge. Expensive but very fine quality and service. Try the Foie gras !

The perfect place for the evening

Great place after a shopping tour on the grands boulevards. The club sandwich is very good. Nice atmosphere

no free wifi , but if you're seated by the window across from chez clement on blvd des capucines, their wifi password is "clement." voila!

The service and the outdoor seating are quite nice ❤️
