Really like the atmosphere and vibe in this hidden speakeasy . The bartenders are awesome. Great places to sit and you feel secluded from the rest of the bar . I will definitely be back!

Was my first time here. Loved it, very authentic and historical. I really felt like a queen in those throne-like armchairs . Would certainly go back for a cosy night.

If you hate the UES because you can't seem to escape the sports bars with the obnoxious stereotypical college crowd , come here on a Saturday- must be 25 to enter. Hollarrrr. Loves it!

I had four smoke & honey cocktails , they're that good! Awesome decor, feels like a house in the 1920s. Not as crowded as most other of its kind.

This is the only bar on the Upper East Side that doesn't have the ubiquitous pool table/darts/hamburgers/30-massive-flat-screens formula. It's a comfortable lounge with sofas . Love it. Opens @ 7:30pm.

A fireplace , red velvet drapes, mahogany bar , and intimate tables make Auction House an excellent date spot . Order Manhattans , but note that a dress code is enforced.

Romantic dimly lit lounge on the upper east side. Velvet seating, large paintings with golden frames... chandeliers . Great date spot .

Lovely, quiet bar for catching up with friends. The chandeliers peeking through the tall velvet curtains give away this "speakeasy " though;)

Breath of fresh air from the rowdy bar scene on 2nd avenue. Come for a nice low key drink with a good friend or two.

You might still get turned away here even you're of drinking age -- the owners appear to want a 25+ crowd, so put yourself together and leave the bros at home. Drinks tend to be on the sweet side.

Very laid back atmosphere , great place to hang with a group of friends on a bunch of fancy couches .

Cozy and wasn't too crowded at midnight on a Saturday. Get the Smoke and Honey cocktail .

Dark. The beer selection could use some help, but a must see for some Old New York mojo .

Red couch in the big room is the pimp spot. Many a makeout have happened here.

They are never open! I've tried at least four times.

Under 25, your money is no good here. I'm sure if they denied entry to people over a specific age that would be illegal... Drinks OK, decor faux trendy . Head to Vinus and Marc for better everything.

Bourbon selection is a lacking but fantastic atmosphere.
