Awesome little park in Upper Rockridge. Great for BBQing or hiking/running. Show up before 10 on weekend mornings for first-come picnic/grill areas.
Awesome place to take a stroll around Lake Temescal, have a picnic , or play some football (just don't break your finger playing football like I did!)
climb the dirt trail for a cool view ; skeptical of the 'beach '
Be the first one there at 6:00 AM and go fishing . It's refreshing. (Even on a workday)
Off the beaten path! (Means you don't have to make hipster friends a la Dolores Park )
This is such a great park with a lake and beach sooooi wonderful....
Shaded parking on Broadway Terrace end. Playground that end better for smalls.
If you go to the beach by 10:30am you don't pay a cover charge !
Take a walk along the narrow lakeside trail .
Take a quick walk/run after dropping off kids at school. It's short and sweet.
South parking lot is way too small, brutally competitive, nowhere to turn around. Avoid. Park on nearby streets then walk back in.
Run around the lake with your dog and chase ducks!
Reserve a spot for $80, or come at 9am and squat an unreserved spot. - Jojo Lam
No dogs allowed. Nice and small. Some trees for kids to climb. - Robert Ferguson
They roast great coffee, but if you haven't tried it, the nitro iced coffee is fabulous - Martin Hitch
Its waaaay better now that they have 4 tunnels instead of two! - Jennifer Halligan
