Don't miss seeing a first-run film here. The picture and sound will blow your mind (and ears) but in a good way. They sell popcorn , candy and bottled drinks. Have fun!
The newest IMAX at any of the Smithsonians. On top of the cool educational videos, they are also showing Jurassic World like regular movie theaters .
The screen is literally 10 times the size of an average movie theater . It's enormous! The only downside is that they do not sell or allow and food/beverage in the theater. Snack before going.
70mm TRUE IMAX is the ONLY way to see Interstellar. Take a little longer drives and do it do it do it. Any negative reviews need to experience it this way.

Don't miss the Observation Tower... you have to take the elevator located next to the IMAX.
