As a Boston native, growing up on Jersey, Net Work, Philly, and Boston food, Hungry Lu’s has the BEST east coast sub in San Diego. Italian Sub , peppers , roasted reds, Amoroso.

I am in love with this place! Sandwich bread recipe is their grandpa's that they've been refining over the years. They make the cannolis to order! So delish w/ lemon zest . A must stop in OB!!!

The torpedo special is such an awesome deal for $5! Credit min is also $5 so win-win! Plus the guy at the counter is so nice and I scored a free cookie for my first visit! +Bread is baked in-house!

The portions of meat and cheese are SO small. I can finish a whole sub and still feel hungry. I recommend Chris' Deli instead. Very friend staff and yummy cookies though. :-)

Unquestionably - Best cannoli and turtles (they call it chocolate drops) in San Diego. Muffuletta facsimile is good too but really need to go back to muffuletta bread being a bakery .

Great torpedo subs . Only 5$ too!! Super great deal. A little greasy but so are most Italian subs .

The personal size pizza's are great if your not to hungry but need something great to snack on!
