I like the Loblolly trail the best but the Company Mill trail leads to some great rock climbing and white water viewing .
If you arrive before the park gate opens, you can safely park on the shoulder without risk of being towed. (Harrison Ave Entrance)
There's more parking on this side of the park . But if you want to get to the lake , you'll need to come in from the other side.
Saturday mornings are busy, but a great time to hike the park in the fall!
Lots of wildlife to see - Black rat snakes, box turtles , deer, crayfish in the creeks!
Gates open at 8am, but you can park on the side of the road and run/bike/walk in earlier.
Nice to have such a great park nearby.
Remember to take plenty of water with you when on the trails ...
Fun place to go biking with friends!
Nice clean trails .
Relatively flat for the first 2.5 miles. Water station about 1.8 miles out.
The random cemeteries are pretty neat!
