CVS is opening across the street on June 2, 2013. I'm happy as they have many items (ice cream , soda , pasta ) cheaper that DAG and if you are a extra card member you usually get 20% off once a week. ;)
This is a well kept store, and the most reliable grocer in the area to have what you need. And cleaner than gristedes.
For a healthy and delicious option, try Delverde's Whole Wheat Spaghetti . It is really good!
Might be pricy compared to some, but you won't find, within walking distance, a cleaner, more reliably stocked market with friendlier, more competent staff .
Good for a quick six pack or some groceries .
