The Goulash is wonderful.... Very close to what I loved in Czech. The Jager schnitzl was also wonderful... The mushroom sauce is more zingy and less creamy than what I was used to from Germany.
Enjoy a pretzel and beer with your friends at the bar off the side of the restaurant . Their imported beer menu is the best. Ask for the owner and he will guide you through the best beers he has!

Their wurst is the best. The pretzels are awesome. Not sure what you want? Try the Oktoberfest plate, it's got a good variety.

Most authentic German in Helen. Had schnitzel ,spatzle , sauerkraut & red cabbage . Delicious!
Try the Reuben Rolls. All the ingredients of a Reuben sandwich in a wonton wrap and deep fried. Delicious!!!

This place has amazing sauerkraut and potato salad . Skip the castle , eat here and ask for beer recommendations.

Don't ask for water...they only serve bottles of water. Who does this? It's 2012...
We were so disappointed they wouldnt try to accommodate our party of 10. After they told us the wait would be 30 minutes, they came bck and said it would be another 45.

Pretzel was amazing, rest, not so much
Rather disappointed. Rouladen was cold and dry, red cabbage was mushy and too vinegary. Even the water was gross. Won't eat here again.
