A must when in Helen. Bienenstich is delicious. Get two pretzel rolls , 1/4lb of cold cuts , Swiss cheese , a beer and you've got a true German bakery & butcher snack . You can't go wrong.

The doughnuts looked amazing but my husband refuses to wait in line . So never got to try them but they looked fantastic. Good flavors too. Line out the door on an early Saturday morning.

Love this place food is good (breakfast or lunch ), there coffee is very good, & the desserts are phenomenal. Parking stinks and lines are worse but absolutely worth every second.

The pastries and breads are prepared on the premises. The food in the cafe is great also. I shop and eat here every time I come to Helen.

This place is a cafe , too, and a nice place for lunch . Try the traditional noodle dish , Spatzle Schwarzwald, and definitely save room for dessert . There are oodles of pastries to choose from.

I have never miss an opportunity to come by here to get some other delicious pastries and cakes ....NEVER!!!!

Waited in line for 25 minutes to finally get to the hostess who stated "We just sat our last Breakfast table. Come back in 30 to 45 minutes to be seated for lunch ." Obscenely inconsiderate.

Lunch is pretty good here.. but in a very small dining area. Spaetzle suppe is tasty on a cold day. For my fellow vegetarians .... the vegetarian pasta is very cheesy and pretty good.

French toast is great, get there early to avoid crazy wait

best corned beef hash I've ever had. coffee was amazing and we got some mini cheesecakes to go - everything was delicious!

Get here very early to avoid lines . Not much on service, but great waffles and french toast .

Huge crowds for breakfast . Come early, before 9:30 if possible.
