Solly’s Bagelry

This is the mothership for Solly's, which has two other Vancouver locations. It's a big space with lots of seating and the bakery in the back. These are the best bagels in the region.

The bagels at this place are exceptionally flavourful. These aren't fluffy, bready bagels - the have bite, crunch, and flavour. This location is the mother ship - quite spacious .

Chocolate babka bun is the most delish. That and the spinach mushroom knish !

You have to have their chocolate babka buns ! Imagine cinnamon rolls but instead of cinnamon , it's chocolate !!

Definitely a problem with customer service - they lack a great deal of it. Only thing they have going for them is their good food.

Great cinnamon buns here!

Hot pastrami sandwich was meh. Chicken soup & pickle were barely edible. I remember the food here being better. Maybe they do sweet better than savoury?

I'm sure the food is good, but so far I've been waiting 25 minutes for a bagel and soup . I was the only one in line when I ordered

Best chocolate babka ever. Also, try the veggie sandwich with humus on a mish-mash bagel .

have the soup for lunch . eat included bagel chips . shake your fist at the rainy sky while you dry off.

Some (not all) of the staff here can be so rude! I approached the sandwich counter & the lady turned her hand at me! Afterward I was given a sandwich with sliced bread ENDS when I asked for a bagel .

Not as good as they used to be. Not sure if they changed owner. Won't eat here again. Sad.

I am surprised that this place has not gone out of business based on the female owner/manager. Its called customer service. Took nearly 15 minutes to get a plain bagel and cream cheese . Never again
