Good location, colorful crowd, tasty sandwiches and open late . What's not to like? Big tables are good for sharing so don't bother stuffing yourself into one of those little penalty desks by the door.

Solid coffee , local Beauty’s Montreal-style bagels , nice salads and sandwiches . Caprese sandwich is a personal fav. Occasional AC plugs. BUT NO WIFI (so being your own)! Happy hour begins at 4 pm.

Great spot to study. Got a lot of worker bees here so there's a good balance of ambient cafe chatter and noise that's not too loud .

I come here for their Lattes and their chill vibes and good music . A lot of young professionals come here and it’s really chill

A great space to journal, catch up with a friend over coffee , or read. They're always, always open. So happy for Oakland for this coffee shop !!!!

Top tier coffee spot ( one of the best in Oakland and the Bay Area. Lavender latte and Ube latte are incredible. Top class service

I almost jumped for joy when I found out they had gluten free raspberry scones . With Four Barrel coffee = bliss.

I like this place. Down to earth feel. It's going to take off as Broadway gets more and more popular.

Awaken is going wifi-free part of the week. I'm in favor of unplugging, but you might want to call ahead if you're counting on wifi .

Lovely relaxed vibe and great tunes , the coffee is pretty solid too.

This is a nice place for coffee open on Saturday and Sunday. It would have been better if they had WiFi

They give out doggy treats whenever I am walking my dog. I love it. Best coffee shop around.

They have some cool events , but some of the staff is kinda snobby, it's uncomfortably jam packed with tables, and food and drink are too expensive considering those things.

Came in 10 minutes before close. The staff was so rude and rushed us even though were taking it to go. Then ordered a hot chocolate and its just steamed milk with no flavor. This place sucks!
