Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve

Great place!!! Good mountain biking trails , also the views are awesome

Hike , walk, run, bike , go to the beach , grab a blanket and picnic . I love this place with all my heart. Great for family, solo visits and friends. Be mindful of parking fee times and arrive early.

Walk the Fisherman 's Road . Takes you down to the water, nice 5+ mile hike which takes you off the paved path.

My favorite park on Long Island . Beautiful foliage all year round and some great hidden views :)

Beautiful park . Walk down to the beach and enjoy The Sound in peace and quiet on a weekday afternoon.

Great place in all four seasons. Great beach for viewing nature. Pick up garbage if you see it!

With 7 miles of trails , this park is an oasis for bird watching and nature photography . No pets allowed.

Great for biking , running, walking, bird watching , nature, piknics, you name it. A treasure of the north shore of Long Island !

Right now the park is doing major clean up from the damages due to Sandy - so there are trails blocked. The main road is open but Fisherman 's Drive is blocked.

Run, walk or just spend some time in this relaxing place

Great place if bikers actually read the no biking signs. [I'm lookin at you bikers who went down the meadow in front of the house that over looks the water/bike off the path] It's $8 to park .
